ANNOUNCEMENTS

There will be a volleyball meeting TODAY after school in the lecture hall for those interested in going out for the volleyball next year.  We will be discussing summer plans.  ALSO If you went to the St. Mary's tournament and still owe for your t-shirt, please bring that money.  You could also bring money for any of the camps that you are attending this summer.

In the annual JH Boys track Laugh Olympics that concluded yesterday, Romero's Rhinos came from behind in the 6 by 1 relay to win the event and the competition.  Final standings    Rhinos 42  Llamas 39,   Giraffes and Hedgehogs 38, Wombats 33 and Sharks 27.  

SOFTBALL:  There will be a meeting of all girls, grades 8-11 planning on playing softball next fall on Wednesday, May 11 at 7:30 am in the weight room.

Anyone interested in cross country next fall there will be a meeting right school in Mrs. Barelmann’s room at 3:25,
Monday, May 16.  Come and listen.

8th graders you must get your class dues to either Mrs. Myers or Mrs. Mann before you check out next week.  

Attention Boys Basketball:  We will have a meeting next Tuesday before school at 7:30 am in the lecture hall to discuss and finalize summer plans.  Please plan to attend.  

Both Avera and Elkhorn Valley Medical Group will be offering Sport Physicals for the 2016-17 school year.  Physicals completed after May 31, 2016 will count toward the 2016-17 school year.  Students will need to call the clinic of there choice and schedule an appointment and return the proper paperwork to OHS in the fall.  There will be a cash option and an insurance option at both clinics and more information will be available when you schedule your appointment.  Everyone in a PE class and all members of our sports teams will need a physical prior to starting the 2016-17 school year.   

MAPS TESTING SCHEDULE
MONDAY, MAY 1​6​
11th grade students who are not in good academic standing or who may have exceeded the attendance limit for the school year will report to campus on this day and remain on campus until approved to leave. YOU WILL BE INFORMED FRIDAY OF THIS WEEK IF YOU ARE TO REPORT.
8 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. → Grades 7-8 MAP testing
12:00 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. → Grades MAP 9-10 testing
TUESDAY, MAY 17
Regular school day for grades 7-11 NO TESTING
WEDNESDAY, MAY 18   
All 11th grade students will report to school to check-in laptops at 8 a.m.

8 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. → Grades 7-8 MAP testing
11:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. → Lunch Grades 7-8

2:00 p.m. - JH Honors Convocation in Gym

12:30 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. → Grades 9-10 MAP testing
