SENIORS - We begin working on the senior song for graduation on Monday during the last 20 minutes of 6th period.  If you are singing, it is your responsibility to work it out with your 6th period teachers to attend the rehearsals.  We will rehearse every day up to May 11th.

Junior High students who are helping with the Mid State Conference track meet, please stop by Mr. Peterson’s room (121) to pick up your t-shirt.

11:30 pm at O’Neill Elementary for the Post Prom festivities and will close at 1:00 am.  **Please note the change of time.**
ALSO If you are bringing a date from a different school please let them know about the changes and a reminder that 
everyone has to have a  signed waiver for the knocker balls.

Seniors:  If you would like to be considered for one of the two speakers at graduation, you need to let Mrs. Braun know by NOON TODAY.  If there are more than two, we will have an online vote on Monday.  

Anyone who wants to use the knocker balls has to have one of the permission sheets to fill out. Also, they have to have the sheets BEFORE post prom, so they can either give them to Kelley in the office or they can just give them to Libi Slack.
If you have dates who are from out of town, they too must have them filled out, so there is a digital copy that can be e-mailed to them so they can get parent permission, and scan and send back to you BEFORE FRIDAY.

To become a member of National Honor Society, four requirements must be attained: scholarship, leadership, character, and service.  In addition, a student must have attained a minimum GPA of 3.0 and have been enrolled in OPS system for at least 3 semesters.  Application forms are due back to Mrs. Brown or Mrs. Kelly no later than 3:00 TODAY.

ANNOUNCEMENTS

Congratulations to the O'Neill FCCLA members who attended state conference.  Results from O"Neill include:  State Champions and National Qualifiers include:  Amanda Pischel, Emma Krysl, and Hannah Alden.  State Champions:  Abby Gillham and Aleigha Holz.  State Runner-Up and National Qualifier:  Lauren Osborne.  Silver Medalists and fourth place finish:  Julia Bauer and Haley Schmeichel.  Marissa Lichty and Emma Krysl were elected to State Peer Education Offices.  Haley Schmeichel was elected District Vice President.  Well done!

Mr. N. Hostert is looking for students who might be interested in helping at track meets this spring.  Dates for the meets are as follows:  Thursday April 14 @ 10 am, Saturday April 30 @ 10 am, Thursday May 12 @ 10 am.  Please stop by his office to sign up and for predestine information.  You must be in good academic standing to get a predestine for these meets.  

Students:  This is the last week to sign up for driver's education.  Also if you took an application please turn that into Mrs. Ludwig, I do not need the check but need the form back.  Thank you.

The "O" club will be traveling to Sioux City on Saturday May 7 to watch the Sioux City Bandits take on the Bloomington Edge in Arena football.  Game time is 7 pm.  There will be a full "O" club meeting on Friday April 8 to set leave time and the rest of the trip itinerary.  

Musical Cast:  Your t shirts are in, the cost is $15.00.  Please get yours picked up from Mrs. Ludwig. Thank you.

The O’Neill High School chapter of the National Honor Society is accepting applications for induction into this service organization. To become a member of National Honor Society, four requirements must be attained: scholarship, leadership, character, and service.  In addition, a student must have attained a minimum GPA of 3.0 and have been enrolled in OPS system for at least 3 semesters.  Application forms may be picked up in the high school office or from Mrs. Brown or Mrs. Kelly beginning on Monday, April 11th and are due back to Mrs. Brown or Mrs. Kelly no later than 3:00 p.m. on Monday, April 18th, 2016.  Students selected for the organization will be announced at the year-end Honor’s Convocation scheduled for Tuesday night, May 10. If you have questions, please call the high school at 336-1544.

Roni Ross, Hali Kloppenborg and Kiara Irwin need to turn their track uniforms in ASAP or you will be billed the full replacement value for them.

If you attend THRIVE this week or next week or bring a friend who hasn't been to THRIVE yet this semester, you will get a token for a FREE Ice Cream Cone or Dilly Bar from DQ. 

TODAY the student council will be having a lunch meeting from 11:30am to 12:00pm. Please plan to attend, unless you are a part of FFA. Kelley Osbourne, Iziah Munoz, Brett Johnston, & Taya Rainforth, I have contacted Mrs. Price and she assured me that you guys would be excused from class to attend this meeting. Lunch will be provided, be sure to bring your own beverage.
