There will be a One Act CAST meeting over Advisement on Friday in Miss Vanderbeek's room from any 8-11 interested in trying out for the One Act.

• There will be a basketball meeting for ALL 8th-11th grade girls next Tuesday, April 27th during Advisement.


• Due to the Junior Class Meeting and the 10th grade PSAT testing, the volleyball meeting that was scheduled for Wednesday, April 21st, will be moved to next Wednesday, April 28th, during Advisement in the Library. Any girls entering grades 9-12 for next year interested in going out for volleyball, feel free to come listen even if you haven't made a final decision about what you want to do in the fall. Contact Coach Lynae Hilker if you have any questions. See you Wednesday!


• There are 15 days remaining for seniors and 21 days remaining for all other students. All fines/fees need to be paid before checking out at the end of the school year. If you have any damages to your laptop and/or power cord, please make sure you discuss them with Mr. Buller as students may also be required to pay for any damages to their laptop and/or power cord. To become a member of National Honor Society, four requirements must be attained: scholarship, leadership, character, and service.  In addition, a student must have attained a minimum GPA of 3.0 and have been enrolled in OPS system for at least 3 semesters.

Application forms may be picked up from Mrs. Brown or Mrs. Kelly beginning on Monday, April 12th and are due back to Mrs. Brown or Mrs. Kelly no later than 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 21st, 2021.  If you have questions, please call the high school at 336-1544.

ANNOUNCEMENTS 

The O Club will plan to travel to Kearney on Friday April 23 to attend a Tri City hockey game and a Sleuth Escape Room.  A $20 deposit is required.  This will be returned when we leave O'Neill.  Please sign up in Mr. N. Hostert's office by Monday April 19th at 3:00 pm.  The bus will leave around 1:45 pm on Friday for Kearney.  Please see Mr Hostert with questions/concerns and to sign up and pay your deposit.  All current O Club members are eligible to attend and up to 30 members may attend.

ANNOUNCEMENTS 

Turning Point USA will be having an informational meeting at Jason Schindler's hangar on Tuesday evening at 7:00 p.m.

Hostert's office by Monday April 19th at 3:00 pm.  The bus will leave around 1:45 pm on Friday for Kearney.  Please see Mr Hostert with questions/concerns and to sign up and pay your deposit.  All current O Club members are eligible to attend and up to 30 members may attend.

FOR ALL SPRING ACTIVITIES:

Spectators are required to wear face coverings for entrance to all activities. Face coverings may be removed if outside and 6 feet of physical distance can be maintained.

Follow local/state DHM’s for spectator attendance.

The host school may establish additional requirements in consultation with local health departments. Additional requirements implemented by the host school must be the same for all schools, officials, judges, and spectators. 


Ainsworth JH Track Meet – Thursday, April 1

Full spectator attendance is allowed. 

Fan and athlete face coverings are recommended but not required. Masks are highly encouraged while using the restroom facilities.

Spectators are encouraged to sit by fans from their own school.

Limited concessions will be available.


JH & HS State Robotics @ DC West High School-Valley – April 9 & 10

All spectators WILL be allowed for this event.  

As of right now, there are NO restrictions as far as a number, but we ask that you adhere to wearing a mask.  

Hand sanitizer will be available. 

Also, use logic when it comes to social distancing.


Spectators planning to travel to away events should plan to check the O’Neill High School announcements for game restrictions.  Announcements can be accessed on the O’Neill High School homepage at oneillhighschool.org or on the District website at
