The FCCLA movie night for Tuesday has been postponed due to lack of sleep!
The “O” club is delivering “Meal on Wheels” this week.  Students delivering should be released at 11:00 am and back by noon.  

The O'Neill High School Holocaust Literature "Remembrance Project" is hosting a Pre-Thanksgiving Bake Sale after school November 19-21st from 3:30-5:00 in the High School Library. Homemade goodies such as cookies, bars, cakes, Husker Football snacks, pies, and breads will be for sale. Students are also available to deliver goodies downtown too! So, please let us do your Thanksgiving baking FOR you, so you can relax and spend time with your family! ALL proceeds from the bake sale support the 2nd Annual Holocaust Literature "Remembrance Project" trip to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington DC that will taking place in March 2013

Due to the popular demand on Basketball shirts – we have extended the date to Tuesday, November 20th.  Please have your order form into Mrs. Ludwig by noon on that day. Thank you.

Veterans Day program is scheduled for TODAY at 10 am.  Grades 7 - 12 will be released at 9:50 am by intercom.

Football end of the season Banquet for all Football athletes will be TONIGHT at the Blarney Stone 7:30.  Coach E.

Money Smart Week was a success with $1375.25 collected for Team Jack. The top 3 classes were, in 3rd place, Mrs. Pongratz’s class with 97.67 points; in 2nd place, Mr. Spangler’s class with 151.5 points; and, in 1st place, Mrs. Barelmann’s and Mr. Peterson’s joint group with 167.54 points. Thanks to everyone who contributed and a special thanks to Mrs. Pongratz’s class for setting the standard for the week by collecting $18.66 on Monday. In addition, thanks to Liz Wallace, Jacob Goldfuss, Kristi Tompkins, Alyssa Sobotka, Cody Belzer, Mia Hartsock, Ariel Lichty, and Abby Krysl who all helped throughout the week. 

There will be a full “O” club meeting on Tuesday Nov. 13 at 11:50 in the Lecture Hall.  Please plan to attend if you recently lettered and are interested in learning more about “O” club.  We have “Meals on Wheels” the week of Nov. 19-21.  

8th Graders and Faculty:  On Thursday, November 15, the eighth grade will be taking the Explore Test periods 1, 2, and 3.  Student will report to their assigned rooms at 8:00 a.m.  Last names beginning A - M in room 111 and last names N - Z in room 228.

Seniors:  There will be a senior class meeting on Friday, November 16 at 2:45 p.m. in the lecture hall.  If you can not attend, see Mr. Fernau

Chef Prepared Meal:  Wednesday, November 14 – Southwest Chicken and Linquine.  Chicken with red and green bell peppers, onions and traditional spices in a creamy cheese sauce, serviced over linquine noodles $3.95 includes fruit & veggie bar and milk choices.

As part of the FCCLA chapter's project for the national program Financial Fitness, we will be celebrating the week by putting on a Penny War. First period classes will compete to collect the most change and the winning class will be rewarded. All of the money collected will be donated to Team Jack.
