Homecoming Coronation

ANNOUNCEMENTS

Seniors will vote on homecoming candidates today (Thursday) 4th hour. All students will vote for homecoming royalty on Friday (tomorrow) at the beginning of 3rd hour.  Coronation will take place on Sunday immediately after the Powder Puff Football/Iron Man Volleyball. 

Kick-off for Homecoming Week starts on Sunday at 3:00 with boys playing Ironman Volleyball. Powder Puff Football will follow after that. Anyone can participate! Each class needs to put a team together and will be awarded points that will go towards determining a champion class for Homecoming Week. Get fired up and show your school spirit at this event! 

Senior attendants for Homecoming King and Queen should plan to take a picture for the HCI on Monday morning.  Please dress up for this picture.  

Lucky Leprechaun Bean Bag Tournament will be held Saturday, September 8^th   at the O’Neill Community Center.  Kids tournament begins at 11 am.  Age groups are 10-13 and 15 -18.  Entry fee is $20 per team.  Win fun prizes – come check it out.

The O’Neill Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring Don Myer on Thursday September 13 starting at 7:30.  All staff and students are encouraged to attend as Don is well know college basketball coach.  He has recently won an ESPY and has a great message for all ages.  Please plan to attend.

Students if you are interested in a football tshirt I have a Youth Medium Long Sleeve Blue tshirt. See Mrs. Ludwig.  ALSO 

The following students owe for football shirts:  Brandon Wanamaker & Hailee Harmon.  Please get this taken care of ASAP.

Anyone age 16 or older (male or female) interested in filling in as a teacher at Developing Eagles until the end of October should go to Central Office and fill out an application.  Experience with children is helpful but not required.

TEACHER ANNOUNCEMENTS

Detention: Sept 4 – 7  / Mrs. Troester

Teachers who have taken Educational Hours for movement on the salary schedule need to have their transcripts sent to Kathy Marvin at OPS Administrative Office, PO Box 230 prior to Sept 10^th in order for movement to take effect for the September payroll.
