Congratulations to Alex A., Brooke, Creston, Nic, Aryn, Katie, Maria, Miranda, Reanna, Morgan, Jeremy, Shea, Addie, Marie, Alex S., Vionne, Liz, and Maranda!  Fantastic auditions this year for one-act.  This promises to be another outstanding year with such an amazing cast lined up!

Lucky Leprechaun Bean Bag Tournament will be held Saturday, September 8^th   at the O’Neill Community Center.  Kids tournament begins at 11 am.  Age groups are 10-13 and 15 -18.  Entry fee is $20 per team.  Win fun prizes – come check it out.

Freshmen, please check the poster lists to find out which poster you will be helping with and your leader.  They can be found with your 8th period study hall or on the 200 hallway bulletin boards.  Get any ideas to your leaders and they will contact Mrs. Hostert or Mrs. Fernau for any supply needs.  We must get the supplies you need before we start on Wed.  

Anyone age 16 or older (male or female) interested in filling in as a teacher at Developing Eagles until the end of October should go to Central Office and fill out an application.  Experience with children is helpful but not required.

HOMECOMING WEEK ANNOUNCEMENTS

All students 9 – 12 nominated for Homecoming Royalty, please plan to attend OHS Coronation at 3 pm sharp in the gym. Following coronation the boys will play Ironman VB.  Powder Puff FB for girls will follow.  All can participate.  Each class needs to put together a team and will be awarded points that will go towards determining a champion for Homecoming week. Due to the prolonged drought the fire department is requesting that we do not have a bon fire for our Homecoming this year.  The Booster club will serve hotdogs following the powder puff football game at the football field, weather permitting.

Monday through Friday will have dress up days.  If you wish to be judged please come to the gym each morning at 7:50.  Two males and two females will win each day. Dress up days are as follows:  Monday – Polka Dot Day; Tuesday – Favorite Super Hero Day; Wednesday – Class Color Day; Thursday – Wild West; Friday – Blue & White Day.

Brackets, Rules and other information will be posted outside of Mrs. Ludwig’s office.

Teachers who have taken Educational Hours for movement on the salary schedule need to have their transcripts sent to Kathy Marvin at OPS Administrative Office, PO Box 230 prior to Sept 10^th in order for movement to take effect for the September payroll.
