ANNOUNCEMENTS

Juniors and Seniors:  A Navy Representative will be here TODAY at 11:30 a.m. in the lunch room for any student interested on receiving information about the Navy.  See Mr. Fernau if you would like to set up an individual time to visit with him.

All “O” club members should stop by Mr. Hostert’s office and place your vote for our annual trip.  Voting will take place on Thursday March 15 and Friday March 16. 

All juniors that are in study hall 8th period or ACT Prep, will be having a state science review session on Mon. March 19th and Tuesday March 20th.  This will take the whole period so please make plans ahead of time.  Juniors whose last name starts with A-H will be in the lecture hall with Mr. Brown and those with last names starting with J-Z will meet in Mr. Corkle's room.  Roll will be taken in each room so please don't go to your regular class first.  Also, everyone will need to bring their computer - charged.  Thanks!!

Cheerleading tryouts for the 2012-2013 Fall and Winter squads will be held on March 28th. Practices will be held in the morning on March 26th, 27th, and 28th. There will be a short meeting after school on March 23rd. There is a sign up sheet outside of Mrs. Kelly's classroom if you are interested in trying out.

Reminder girls basketball team:  Please hand in your post season award sheets, and if you haven’t had your exit interview with coach Eichelberger you need to reschedule this week.

Devon Davidson, Josh Peterson, McCoy Strong & Cameron Wallace you need to bring $25 for your hat by the end of the week.  Please give your money to Mrs. Ludwig in the office.

The O'Neill Lions Club is sponsoring Donkey Basketball on Saturday afternoon at the high school.  We are looking for senior girls and boys interested in playing.  Please let Mrs. Shane know if you are interested in playing.

The O’Neill Junior Senior High School front entry is off limits to all students and the general public.  An accident following school on Tuesday caused some structural damage to the canopy and all students are asked to use the lounge doors and the east doors of the building to enter.  Parents, please drop off your students using the east side of the building and enter the school parking lot from 7th street and exit on Hynes.

Mark Billington is planning to present the Apple Distinguished School plaque Monday before or after the BRAVO presentation.  (Remember this is on the 19th of March)  The BRAVO presentation is at 8:00 a.m. for 9th – 12th students…  We’ll have everyone (including the junior high students) meet in the gym to start the day and be present for the Apple Award, then release them for class.

There are two groups from Ohio that will be in the building on Thursday, March 22nd to look at the 24/7 program. 

ALL OHS JUNIORS AND SENIORS...  PLEASE enroll in the Angel Prom Group OPS_Prom2010 (yes that is correct).  Your enrollment pin is prom2012  There are 2 very important surveys that need to be complete ASAP to help with event planning.  Surveys must be taken by early next week.  Thank you!

Students:  Remember to sign up this week for the FCCLA Talent Show on Tuesday, March 20 at 6:30 pm.

Attention High School Basketball Players:  Next Tuesday, March 20th, we will have our year end banquet at Tia Zia starting at 6:30.  Please plan to attend as we will bring the season to an end and hand out season ending awards.  If you can NOT make it please let Coach Kallhoff know. 

 Attention all 8th and 9th grade Boys Basketball players:  The annual Bison all star basketball tryouts will be held next Wednesday, March 21st at West Holt High school.  This tryout is for anyone interested.  Please see Mr. Kallhoff by the end of this week if you would like more information or to sign up.
