ANNOUNCEMENTS
There will be a student council meeting during homeroom in Mrs. Troester's room on Friday, September 20.  Please check your email for details.

FCCLA members who would like to order a Chapter shirt please sign up in Mrs. Mann's room.   Also sales are due, please be sure you have turned yours in!

K-12 students and staff at West Holt, OHS, and O'Neill St Marys, along with members of these Holt County communities have been invited to participate in a #peacedaychallenge.  The challenge is the make 1000 origami Peace Cranes and send them to the Hiroshima Peace Memorial in honor of Sadako Sasaki, a 12 year old Japanese girl who survived the Hiroshima bombing, but later passed away from Leukemia.  While in the hospital being treated, she made hundreds of peace cranes, and a memorial was erected in her honor at Hiroshima.  Please check your email or the school FB page for the details of how to make your peace crane and what to do for the challenge!  There is s drop off located in the new main hallway on the West side of the school.  Please drop your cranes off there by September 20th!

Student Council would like to invite you to the kickoff of homecoming week.  On Sunday at 4:00, the fun begins with a dodgeball competition in the gym, followed by a barbeque on the football field.  You don’t need to sign up for dodgeball, just show up and play for your class. We hope to see everyone there!

There is a blood drive on Monday of next week.  If you signed up to give blood, go to the junior high commons to sign in.  The bus will be on the south side of the school.

September 23rd is our JV Softball Triangular.  Here is the game schedule for that day:
