Midland University is having a representative come December 14 at 11:00 am for any junior or senior interested in going there.

Students:  The Musical this year will be “Ducktails & Bobbysox”:  A Fifties rock ’n’ roll star Curtis Jackson pays a surprise visit to the small town of Victor where he encounters a host of hilarious characters and madcap happenings:  Alex Fenton, the all-state football hero who is kidnapped before the big game; Tillie Thompson, the empty-headed waitress of the local malt shop; Wilbur and Bertha, the charmingly clumsy couple who find love in the stars; and a trio of cheerleaders who break into a cheer at every opportunity.  And to top it all off, hilarious impersonations of ’famous fifties’ rock stars.  Add to this a powerhouse collection of original rock ’n’ roll songs:  ’Elvis, Buddy and Me,’ ’Bobby Sock Hop,’ ’Homecoming Rock’ plus many more.  Students - The thing is – I know that you are all busy – but this musical is not difficult and I believe we will be able to include so many of you in many different roles.  If you don’t want a speaking part or a singing part that is fine – I would like to have extras for sitting in the dinner and also some of you who want to learn to dance the “jidder bug” I have parts for just you.  This will be a fun production – if you have questions see Mrs. Ludwig.

If any student would like to have a #BeKind #EraseHate wrist band you are welcome to stop in Mr. Fisher's office and take one...PLEASE TAKE ONLY ONE.  They are in a box by the door.  Again, PLEASE TAKE ONLY ONE as there is only enough for 1 each.  Our speakers from yesterday Dr. Mark and Joni Adler have requested that you only take a wrist band and wear it if you are willing to live it by being kind to others and do your part to speak up and help stop bullying!

FCCLA has extra 32 oz. Eagle Tumblers for those on your Christmas list.  See Mrs. Mann if you would like one. They are $19.
