ANNOUNCEMENTS

Just a reminder to please check the announcements on a daily basis.  There are changes being made to the calendar and this is a great place to find them.

SENIORS:  Mandatory class meeting TODAY during lunch.  

Softball Players & Parents:  The games on Tuesday, September 8th will be played at the Madison City Park, located on North Main Street, directly east of the Madison County Fair Grounds.

7th Grade Volleyball Players:  Practice is at the high school today! 

FCCLA members who have sold 3 items by today should bring your paper to Mrs. Mann to get your prize. 

SENIORS:  A reminder to all seniors that the late start/early out privilege is for those seniors who have a 1st or 8th period study hall.  You must report to study hall no later than 8:30 a.m. for those who have 1st period study hall and must remain on campus until 3:00 p.m. for those who have 8th period study hall  You are not allowed to miss the entire 1st or 8th period.

Students in grades 7, 8, 9, and 10 will test on September 9th and 22nd.  Students in grades 7 and 8 will begin testing at 8 am, and be done approximately at 11:30 (dismissed for the day).  Grades 9 and 10 will report school and to their assigned classrooms at 12 noon and complete testing at approximately 3:30.  Juniors and Seniors will not be in school those days.  For assigned classrooms, please see the posted room assignments outside of the library and if you have questions, talk to Mrs. Braun. 

Students:  Homecoming is just around the corner (September 13-18).  I am considering some options to replace the traditional hallway decorating activity during homecoming for this year.  I am interested in hearing your thoughts.  Send me an email or stop in.  I will be talking with student council to address this activity and possible options.
