ANNOUNCEMENTS

Seniors:  Your reward day for being the best with NeSA testing will be Wednesday-March 6th.  You may come to school, but your attendance is optional on this date.  Grades 7 – 11 will be dismissed at 1:30 p.m. to start spring break.

Attention Boys Basketball Players:  The year end meeting will be held immediately after school this Thursday, tomorrow, in the lecture hall.  Please bring practice jersey, blue and white game jerseys and shorts, and warm up tops and bottoms.  Plus bring a writing utensil as we will be filling out a few forms.  

A reminder to all JUNIOR PARENTS that the prom banquet planning meeting is tonight at 6:30 in the OHS Library.  

JH & HS Bands: Great concert last night! Your performance was outstanding!

We will have a meeting for all boys and girls, 9th-12th grade, who are going out for high school track.  The meeting will be at 3:30 p.m. in the lecture hall, Monday, March 4th. Coach Peterson & Coach Hilker

The Department of Teaching, Learning and Teacher Education in the College of Education and Human Sciences at UNL has secured a STARTALK grant that will provide funding to support a 14 day Chinese Language, Cultural and Technology Summer Academy for 25 NE high school students.  This year they are specifically targeting the Academy to students who have no or very  little knowledge of the Chinese language.  See Mr. Brosz if interested.

There will be a Respect Retreat for all 9th and 10th grade students on February 28th at Faith Community Church.  It will be from 9 am until 2:30 pm and lunch will be provided.  You will come to your first period class and then you will be bused to the retreat.  This is a required school activity and attendance will be taken.
