ANNOUNCEMENTS

There will be a pep rally TODAY at 2:50 in the high school gym.  The FFA will finish up FFA week with their annual “kiss the pig” followed by the pep rally.  

Pep band and drill team will load and leave at 5 pm tonight!  If you have any questions see Mr. Dean

There will be a meeting at 7:40 A.M. Tuesday morning in room 115 for all high school students interested in being on the quiz bowl team.  

Juniors and Seniors:  A representative from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln will be here Tuesday, Feb. 26th at 8:30 a.m.   See Mr. Fernau for a pass today if you would like to visit this rep.

Congratulations to the following FFA members that were selected as state finalists (top 5 in the state) in their proficiency applications: Miles Stagemeyer, Wyatt Bordovsky, Jacob Goldfuss, Bailey Krieger, and Riley Wakefield.

FCCLA members may still turn in their officer applications today or tomorrow due to the storm.  Please do so immediately. 
STUDENT COUNCIL IS HAVING A BLOOD DRIVE ON TUESDAY! Blood supplies are low, so they are desperate to get people to donate. There is a sign up sheet outside of Mrs. Troester's classroom door. Please consider giving blood on Tuesday. 

The following people need to pay for ($12) and pick up their FFA Week t-shirts: Sam Eichelberger, Sidney Breiner, Macus Skopec, Zeb O'Bryan, and Catrina Spangler.

2012 ONE-ACT PARTICIPANTS: Posters are ready to order from Studio B Photography! If you would like one, you may mail your order (include how many posters, your name, address, and phone number) and a check for $25 to: Studio B Photography,  Box 100, Chambers,  NE 68725.  Tammy will also run a special for those who did not get a poster last year: $45 for both 2011 and 2012 posters. Be sure to share this information with your parents!

Drivers Education will start on Tuesday, February 26th at 4:45 pm until 6:45.  Please bring something to write on and with.  All classes will be in room 326.  If you have any questions please contact Mr. Brosz or Mrs. Ludwig.

There will be a Respect Retreat for all 9th and 10th grade students on February 28th at Faith Community Church.  It will be from 9 am until 2:30 pm and lunch will be provided.  You will come to your first period class and then you will be bused to the retreat.  This is a required school activity and attendance will be taken.  

The following students have volunteered to help with the Kindness Retreat, to be held on February 27th at Faith Community Church.  They will arrive at Faith Community at approximately 8:15 and be done at 2:30.  Lunch will be provided for them.
