In celebration of our last lip dub hitting the 40,000 view mark on YouTube AND our football making the playoffs for the first time in SEVENTEEN YEARS we are going to be filming a lip dub in conjunction with the pep rally at 3:00 p.m.   We will be doing "Gangnam Style" by PSY and yes, it is in Korean. We need volunteers to be feature performers in the video, preferably students who can do the "dance" that is used in the video. If you would like to be featured, or know somebody who can really do the dance, please let Mr. Peterson know Tuesday!! Help promote school spirit and help the football get a win on Thursday!! The video will end in the gym and kick off the pep rally!

A reminder to Staff and all sophomores:  On October 31, all sophomores will be taking the PLAN test 1st through 3rd period.  Room assignments for testing will be posted on Monday.

The O’Neill Eagles have qualified for the state football playoffs and will play at Grand Island Central Catholic on Thursday at 6 pm.  The game will be played at Memorial Stadium in Grand Island which is located at Grand Island Senior High School.  Gates will open at 5 pm.  Admission is $5 for K-High School students and $7 for adults.  If you are interested in riding a bus to the game on Thursday please see Mr. Hostert to sign up.  Cost is $18 for the ride and we will need at least 40 paid riders by Wednesday at 11 am to make this go.  The Central Catholic Dance Team will host a “Soup and Cinnamon Roll” meal from 5 to 6 pm for $5.00.  O’Neill fans should sit on the east side of the stadium. If you need driving directions to the stadium they are located outside of Nick Hosterts office.

There will be a pep rally for the Eagle football team on Wednesday at 3:00 in the gym.

The guidance office will be taking interested students to a Chadron State College Visit next Friday, October 26th.  We will be leaving from the High School at 8 a.m. on Friday, October 26th and returning that evening around 7 p.m.  If you are interested, sign up in the guidance office.  All students who are participating must have a signed permission turned into the guidance office by Thursday morning at 10 p.m. in order to go.
