ANNOUNCEMENTS
The Ord FFA Chapter will be sponsoring a Pork BBQ TONIGHT from 5 to 7 pm at the High School Commons Area.  *Please note location change*  This is a free will donation.  All proceeds will help their Local State FFA Secretary, Johnny Ference travel to Argentina. 

Students and Staff: Don’t forget if you want a State Playoff Football tshirt your orders need to be in to Mrs. Ludwig by 11 AM TODAY.

High School Band: Another ‘Superior’ performance yesterday at the Wayne State College Cavalcade Of Bands!  Despite the wind & weather, you made a memorable performance!

Congratulations to the O'Neill FFA Livestock Judging Teams, Junior and Senior division, for qualifying for state at District Livestock Judging yesterday. Thomas Schipporeit received Senior Division Reserve Champion and Nikki Gotschall received Jr. High Division Grand Champion. Good Luck at State!

Anyone attending the Latino Summit there will be a brief meeting in Mrs. Kelly’s room over lunch TODAY. Bring your lunch.

Senior meeting Friday morning at 7:45 in the library to vote on class flower, class color, and class motto.  If you want input, be there.

OHS Student Council is sponsoring a blood drive on Tuesday, October 23 from 9:00-2:30. In order to donate, you must weigh at least 120 pounds and be 16 years old. 16 and 17 year old students must have signed permission. Sign up to donate by Cheryl's office and get your permission form from her. Each year, OHS holds one of the best blood drives in this part of the state! Let's continue this tradition. Sign up today! 

Student Council Members - Come to Mrs. Troester's room today to get your predestine for the blood drive. Mrs. Miller, Mrs. Troester's sub, will give it to you.

There is a post-season meeting at Dairy Queen right after school this Friday, the 19th for any girls who played softball or were a student manager this past season.  

The guidance office will be taking interested students to a Chadron State College Visit next Friday, October 26th.  We will be leaving from the High School at 8 a.m. on Friday, October 26th and returning that evening around 7 p.m.  If you are interested, sign up in the guidance office.  All students who are participating must have a signed permission turned into the guidance office by Thursday morning at 10 p.m. in order to go. 

The Wayne Chapter STAND FOR THE SILENT needs your help to fill the Wayne Food Pantry. Bring in a non-perishable food item to the Wayne Volleyball game Friday, Oct 19th and get a $1.00 off the price of admission into the game.  Together we can make a difference for our Community Food Pantry.

The Lions Mobile Screening Unit will be at the High School on Monday, October 22 and Wednesday, October 24.  Vision and hearing screenings will be done on all students.  We will start with 12th grade.  Teachers please release students for screenings when you are notified!

There will be a Freshmen meeting on Tuesday, October 23, in the lecture hall at 2:55 p.m.  Students will be dismissed by the intercom.
