ANNOUNCEMENTS
There will be a
senior lunch in the lecture hall TODAY.
Pizza will be provided, everyone needs to bring $2 also bring what you
want to drink.
The
Yearbook Staff is extending the deadline to purchase a yearbook until TODAY at
3:45 PM. Any student who did not
send payment back to Jostens or did not fill out a yearbook order form back in
February may bring their payment to Mrs. Gotschall. You must bring your EXACT payment in order to reserve your
book. You may place your orders
before or after school, or during 2nd, 7th, or 8th period.
ATTENTION
SENIORS: All seniors
who will be singing the senior song for graduation, we will rehearse today
through next Tuesday during the first half of 6th period in the music room.
Any seniors who would like to be part of the performance group needs to
attend as many of these rehearsals as possible. This year's song should
be easy to learn quickly and will be fun to perform. See you 6th period!
MUSICAL CAST AND
CREW: There will be a
very short meeting during the first 10 minutes of 8th period today in the music
room. If you have an early out, please attend the meeting first. I
promise it will be short as we will just be talking about our cast/crew party.
STUDENTS
running for student council may begin campaigning May 8th. On May 15th from 8:00-8:15 those
seeking office for Student Council will address the 7-11th grade student body. During 2nd period on May 15th, students
will vote for student council president/vice president, secretary, and
treasurer.
If you have lettered
in a sport as an athlete, cheerleader or manager you are still eligible to sign
up for the “O” club this year. Please see Mr. Hostert if you are
interested.
Attention Seniors:
There will be a brief meeting on Tuesday morning, May 8 at 7:45 in the
library. Nicole Sedlacek will be here on that morning to distribute your senior
mailboxes. Please be prompt. This is a wonderful gift to each one
of your community.
The Holt County
Animal Shelter is selling t-shirts $15 Adult $10 Youth. All money raised stays with the O’Neill
facility. If you are interested in purchasing a t-shirt please see Miss Evans
at the Elementary. Deadline is May
8, 2012. A picture of the t-shirt
is outside of Mrs. Ludwig’s office.
A reminder to all
students that fines/missing equipment must be taken care of prior to the end of
the year.
We are testing MAPS for 7th, 8th, and 10th grade on May 2, and
3. It will look like this:

JH students have lunch until 1:00 so testing will look like this (approximately) for 7th and 8th: When 7th, 8th, or 10th test in the morning, they will report to the activities building at 8 am until 11:30 When they test in the afternoon, 7th and 8th will begin at 12:50. However, 10th grade will begin at 12:00. All students must take the test. Please make your best effort to be in school, knowing if you miss, you will be required to miss classes to make up the testing at a later date.
