ANNOUNCEMENTS

If you have lettered in a sport as an athlete, cheerleader or manager you are still eligible to sign up for the “O” club this year.  Please see Mr. Hostert if you are interested. 

Attention Seniors:  There will be a brief meeting on Tuesday morning, May 8 at 7:45 in the library.  Nicole Sedlacek will be here on that morning to distribute your senior mailboxes.  Please be prompt.  This is a wonderful gift to each one of your community.  

The Holt County Animal Shelter is selling t-shirts $15 Adult $10 Youth.  All money raised stays with the O’Neill facility. If you are interested in purchasing a t-shirt please see Miss Evans at the Elementary.  Deadline is May 8, 2012.  A picture of the t-shirt is outside of Mrs. Ludwig’s office.

Congratulations to Dave Akainda for breaking the school Squat record in Conditioning class with a squat of 500 lbs. and also to Michael Collins breaking the school record in Power Clean with a lift of 275 lbs.  Thanks.

A reminder to all students that fines/missing equipment must be taken care of prior to the end of the year.

Seniors:  Please take the survey titles Seniors, final words for each other on Angel.  It is located in the group Senior class.  Go to your inbox and you will find it.  It is 2 questions long.  Please take this survey for the yearbook.  Let’s make the graduation pages meaningful.  Thanks.

The Yearbook Staff is extending the deadline to purchase a yearbook until WEDNESDAY May 2nd at 3:45 PM.  Any student who did not send payment back to Jostens or did not fill out a yearbook order form back in February may bring their payment to Mrs. Gotschall.  You must bring your EXACT payment in order to reserve your book.  You may place your orders before or after school, or during 2nd, 7th, or 8th period.







We are testing MAPS for 7th, 8th, and 10th grade on May 1, 2, and 3.   It will look like this:

7th in the morning        10th in the morning            8th in the morning
8th in the afternoon                7th in the afternoon            10th in the afternoon

JH students have lunch until 1:00 so testing will look like this (approximately) for 7th and 8th: When 7th, 8th, or 10th test in the morning, they will report to the activities building at  8 am until 11:30   When they test in the afternoon, 7th and 8th will begin at 12:50.  However, 10th grade will begin at 12:00.

All students must take the test.  Please make your best effort to be in school, knowing if you miss, you will be required to miss classes to make up the testing at a later date.
