ANNOUNCEMENTS

There will be a cheerleading meeting after school on Tuesday in Mod 4.

All Football players: TONIGHT check out FB Equipment at the 38 bldg. The following is the schedule for check out times. Seniors – 5:30 pm; Juniors – 6:00 pm; Sophomores – 6:20; Freshmen 6:40. This checkout is mandatory.

There will be a short meeting Wednesday at 3:30 pm in the lecture hall for all girls that are planning to play softball next fall. Coach G.

All boys basketball players in grades 7-11 should plan to meet on Wednesday in the Mr. Brown’s Room at 3:30 for a short meeting.  Summer plans for league, day camps and open gyms will be discussed.  Please see Coach Hostert or Coach Kallhoff if you have questions.

Ewing Public School are having a Lip Sync Contest on May 29th from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm at their High School. This is a class fundraiser. Cash prizes will be awarded. Entry fee is $30 and deadline is May 25th. If you have any questions call 402-626-7783.

Boy track athletes:  In order to check out of school on Friday you need to have all of your track gear handed in by the end of school on Wednesday, or wait until Next Monday the 23rd, to get your slip signed off by me.  Wednesday, we will be having a hamburger feed during lunch hour for all the track athletes.  Please plan on attending. Football players and Girls Basketball players make sure to turn in your camp money and forms before school ends.

The local clinics will again be offering sport physicals for the 2011-12 school year.  All students entering grades 7-12 in the fall of 2011 that plan to be involved in PE and or a sport will need to have a current physical in order to participate.  All 7-8 students will need a physical for PE class.  The clinics will have our physical forms available.  Please bring a urine sample with you.  Physicals given on other dates you will be charged the full price by the clinics.  Please see Mr. Hostert if you have questions.  Elkhorn Valley Medicine:  May 25 & August 10 from 5-7 pm.  Cost $5
Avera Holt County Medical & O’Neill Family Practice:  Physicals given at St. Anthony’s hospital on June 16 & July 20 from 5-7 pm.  Cost-Free.
