ANNOUNCEMENTS

ALL Students, Community members and staff are welcome and encouraged to attend Honors Convocation TONIGHT.  A list of students who will be recognized in some way is posted outside Mrs. Hull’s office.  This is a semi-formal event – dress accordingly.  No jeans or shorts, please.

Track teams meet at the field at 4:00 p.m. today.

Seniors: The Holt County Sheriff’s Office, O’Neill Police Department, Holt County Sound Substance Solutions Coalition and Bright Horizons will be hosting a barbeque for all seniors following graduation practice on Wednesday at the football field. The event will begin at 11:30 and will conclude around 1:30. We would like to encourage all of you to attend.

The slate of candidates running for Student Council officers for 2011 – 2012 are: President/Vice President – Allison Depko & Derrick Hostert and Connor Peterson & Creston Buller. Secretary – Stephanie Nemec/Unopposed. Treasurer – Molly Shane/Unapposed.

The O’Neill Baseball association is looking for umpires for t-shirt, little league, and pony league games for this summer.  These are paid positions.  If you are interested please call Tom Earley at 340-0011 or see Mr.  Hostert.

Impact testing will be offered again this week on Wednesday, May 4th & Thursday, May 5th during 8th period. Please sign up in Mr. Hostert’s office.

Any senior who wishes to sing for graduation, please come to the music room 6th period.

Seniors Laptop Check-in can be completed anytime between Monday and Wednesday.  Stop by Mrs. Morrow's room to pick up a "Check-In" checklist and borrow cleaning materials,  There will not be a set time to check in your computer with your class, but you will need to take care of this and get a signature for your check-out sheet sometime before you leave school on Wednesday.  Thanks, Katie

MAPS testing will begin May 3rd & 4th for 9th / 10th graders; May 10th & May 11th for 7th / 8th graders. Please watch the announcements for more detailed information. Detailed information on angel.

All students who have not yet submitted their payments for their yearbooks or who missed order day are invited to bring their payment to Mrs. Gotschall THIS WEEK ONLY.  Please bring your bill from home if you have it, and a check made to OHS for the amount of your order.  If you are ordering through Mrs. Gotschall, please bring a check for $43 or $43 in cash.
