Anyone interested in assisting at the sale barn for the Labor Day sale, see James McCabe or Ms. Knabe as soon as possible.

REMINDERS

ONE-ACT AUDITIONS ARE COMING!!!!! We will be holding auditions for the very fun and exciting "Cap'n Hook" on Monday, Sept. 20 and Tuesday, Sept. 21. Auditions will be held in the band/choir room immediately after school on those days. If you absolutely cannot attend on either of those days, email Mrs. Langan at jlangan@esu8.org to set up an alternative audition time. Alternative auditions must take place BEFORE open auditions, so be sure to email early!!!

This Thursday night is the first home volleyball game.  Support the Eagle VB team by wearing blue from head to toe! 

Ballots for Homecoming Royalty are posted outside Mrs. Hull’s office.  Please check them and report any errors or omissions to Mrs. Hull.  Ballots will be finalized on Thursday, and Seniors will vote for King and Queen candidates on Friday during 3rd period classes.

The Josten's ring reps will be here on Sept 2nd  @2:00 p.m. in the main hallway.  Pick ring packets up from Mr. Mohr.

Students 9-12 interested in competing in the Academic Decathlon need to come to Mrs. Troester's Room 220 on Thursday morning at 7:30 AM. The Academic Decathlon is a scholastic competition that covers ten events: Art, Economics, Essay, Interview, Language & Literature, Mathematics, Music, Science, Social Science, and Speech. This year's topic is over the Great Depression. If you can't come to the meeting, stop by to visit with Mrs. Troester sometime during the week to learn 
more. She wants to see how many students would be interested in this type of competition. Thanks!

MAPS Assessment Schedule Fall 2010 – Grades 7-10
Grade 7 - Date: Tuesday, September 7, 2010                                                      Grade 8 - Date: Thursday, September 9, 2010
Grade 9 - Date: Tuesday, September 14, 2010                                                      Grade 10 - Date: Thursday, September 16, 2010

Time: Periods 1-8
Location:  Students will report to the Activities Building for first period
Materials:  Students will need to bring computers/chargers, homework to finish, and a book to read.
Assessments:  Reading, Math, Language, Science
