ANNOUNCEMENTS

This is a reminder to all OHS Juniors and Seniors that you MUST sign up and pay for (if it applies) the Prom Banquet by TODAY if you are planning to go.  If you do not plan to go to banquet, but you do plan to attend the Grand March and/or dance, you must also sign up your date with Mrs. Gotschall.  This must be done by Thursday, April 20th.

Students:  Working lunch study halls will again be held next week on Monday and Wednesday during both lunch periods.  Some great improvement was seen this past week and that will be the expectation again this week!  Shout out to those who held themselves accountable to the expectations and reported on time.  If you have a failing grade, you are expected to be there unless you are excused by Mr. Fisher or Mr. Hilker.  Consequences for skipping could include losing the opportunity to participate in privileges yet this spring and also senior driving privileges in the future.  Attendance is tracked each Monday and Wednesday.

On Thursday, April 13 at 6pm in Miss Vanderbeek’s room, there will be a Parent Meeting for any 7th and 8th graders interested in the Washington, D.C. trip.  Bring your parents! Anyone unable to attend needs to let Miss Vanderbeek know so she can get information out to those who miss the meeting.

HS students interested in helping at the HS track invite on Thursday April 13 or the JH invite on Tuesday April 18 please see Mr. N. Hostert soon.

The 2017 O'Neill Athletic Banquet will be held on Friday April 28 starting at 6 pm.  University of Nebraska kicker Spencer Lindsay will be our guest speaker.  The night will include a catered meal.  All HS athletes are reminded to sign up and the cost of your ticket will be covered by the Booster Club.  There is a sign up sheet for athletes outside Mr. N. Hostert's office.  Cost for a ticket is $15 and can be purchased from Mrs. Ludwig at OHS.  Everyone is invited to attend.

Juniors & Seniors:  Carrie Hahlbeck will be selling Post Prom Tickets again on Monday, April 10th during lunch.  The cost per ticket is $10.00 per person.  This will be your last chance to purchase them.

There is a meeting for any girls (incoming 9th through 12) interested in going out for the 2017 Volleyball season Monday, April 10th @ 2:30 in the Lecture hall.

The "O" Club will be traveling to Kansas City on Friday May 5 and spend part of the day at Worlds of Fun and watch the Kansas City Royals take on the Cleveland Indians at 7:15 pm on Friday night.  Members wishing to travel need to sign up and get your $33 to Mr. Hostert on or before Friday April 21.  There is a sign up sheet outside Mr. N. Hostert's office.

The following Seniors need to stop  in and fill out the Holt County Independent questionnaire or return them to Mrs. Ludwig:    Valeria Benavides Linares, Cristian Carrillo-Barrientos,  Ernesto Lopez-Vidrio, Tyler Regan, Conor Selby, Chance Sholes & Jacob Todd
