ANNOUNCEMENTS

If you are interested in playing high school soccer please plan to fill out a survey in the MP room/Student Lounge, over your lunch period, on March 2, 6 or 7.  Surveys can also be filled out in Mr. N. Hostert's office anytime before March 8.

Kiss the Creature Assembly will be held on Thursday at 3:00 pm in the gym! Come see which teachers will be kissing creatures!

State Basketball T Shirt order forms are in Mrs. Ludwig’s office.  If you wish to purchase one please have your order form back into me by TOMORROW at Noon.  Thank you.

Boys interested in going out for boys golf there will be a meeting next Monday, March 6th, at 3:45 at the 38 building.  Basketball players don't come to the meeting until after the State basketball tournament.  Please contact coach Buller if you have questions.

Any girl, 9-12, interested in going out for high school track, there will be a meeting, Monday, March 6th, in Coach Peterson’s room (121) right after school. We will have a short practice after the meeting.  Practice will start officially March 7. 

Students and Staff:  Nebraska became a state on March 1, 1867.  This Wednesday will be our state's 150th birthday.  The Social Studies dept. is planning a number activities to celebrate.  Students and staff are asked to wear a shirt that has the name of a Nebraska town.  Please stop by Room 115 and pick up a Nebraska Sesquicentennial quiz and submit your completed quiz in the box in Mr. Fisher's office.  Stop by the display case in the 100 hallway and check out the Nebraska county sheriff patches and also be sure to sign the "Where else have you lived in Nebraska" map on the office bulletin board.  Several lucrative prizes will be awarded at the end of day.  There will be a prize for the trivia winner plus t-shirt prizes for the Nebraska town farthest from O'Neill, closest to O'Neill, most colorful, and most unique. 

Any boy, 9-12, interested in going out for high school track, there will be a meeting, March 6th, in the lecture hall right after school.  Bring a pen.  We will have a short practice after the meeting.  Practice will start officially March 7. Any varsity boy basketball player will not be allowed to participate until after competing in state basketball. Coach Hilker

There will be a volleyball meeting for all current 8th-11th graders interesting in playing volleyball next Fall at Mrs. Tomjack’s room at the Elem at 3:45 on Wednesday.   We will be discussing summer plans.
