ANNOUNCEMENTS

O'Neill vs. Norfolk Catholic girls and boys basketball game times have been changed to the following:

JV boys game @4:30 in Burns Auditorium

Varsity Girls game at 4:30 in Activity Center

JV girls game @ 6:15 in Burns Auditorium

Varsity Boys game at 6:15 in Activity Center

We will make a final call by 1 pm today if we can travel.

The Junior/Senior Class will be hosting a soup supper Thursday night during the basketball games with West Holt. All proceeds will go towards post prom.  

OHS Students grades 7-12:  Each Monday (or Tuesday if need be) Mr. Fisher will include a Tweet of the Week in the Monday Memo.  If you see a really positive post on Twitter, you can either screenshot and send it to Mr. Fisher via email (coreyfisher@oneillschools.org) or simply retweet it to @coreyfisher92.  If I use what you send or share with me, you will become eligible for a free lunch from anywhere in O'Neill paid for by Mr. Fisher!  One winner will be drawn each month!  Remember, the posts must be positive and appropriate for school.  If you retweet something to my Twitter address that is not appropriate you will be blocked and reported.  

There will be a Junior class meeting on Thursday of this week to discuss preparations for the mandatory ACT Test that all juniors students will take on April 19th this spring.  All juniors are expected to attend this meeting on Thursday.  Time will be announced a.s.a.p.  The meeting will either be in the lecture hall or the library.

Students:  Make sure you are checking your school email accounts daily.  

Students, if you are interested in the 2018 International Adventure, we are OFFICIALLY GOING TO IRELAND AND SCOTLAND!!! There will be a planning and enrollment meeting next Wednesday, January 25th, in Mrs. Gotschall's room at 6:15 PM.  Please bring a parent or guardian with you.  Check your email, as more specifics were sent to the student body. 

OPS, West Holt and St. Joe’s TeamMates will be celebrating National Mentor Recognition Month during half time of the Boys West Holt - vs - OHS Varsity Basketball game in O’Neill on Thursday, January 26th.  TeamMates wanting to participate are asked to wear their red TeamMates shirts and sit as a group. All TeamMates matches will be entered into the game at no charge and will receive a coupon for a free popcorn and drink at the concession stand.  

There is a track and field camp at the University of Nebraska-Kearney on Sunday, February 12th from 1-4 pm. The track team will provide transportation for the camp.  We ask that NO girls varsity basketball players attend this camp as it is the day before Sub-Districts.
