ANNOUNCEMENTS

Your O’Neill Eagles will travel to Memorial Stadium on Tuesday November 22 to take on the Wahoo Neumann Cavaliers.  Game time is set for 2:45 and admission gates will open at 1:45 pm.  O’Neill fans can purchase tickets at Gate 22.  Ticket prices are set at $7 for adults and $5 for students.  This is good for one game only.  O’Neill will be the home team and occupy the East sideline and Eagle fans will be in the East stands.  Some reminders for those attending…
-No Spirit lines by spectators and fans are allowed.
-All spectators and fans must stay off the field at the conclusion of the game.  This includes the medal ceremony.
-As per NCAA rule the Nebraska Football offices are closed, to fans and spectators, on Monday and Tuesday during state football.
-The game will be broadcasted on KBRX and televised on NET TV. 
- Artificial noise makers such as thunder sticks, cow bells, air horns, whistles, etc are prohibited.
-Pep rally at the High School on Monday at 9:45 am.  The Eagles will leave by bus following this route if you want to step outside and cheer them on…..High School East lot to Hynes Street and then to the Elementary along 4th Street.  They will leave the Elementary along 4th Street and go East along US Highway 275.   There is additional information, for fans and spectators attending the Class C1 State Football final game posted in the student lounge and outside of Mrs. Ludwig’s office.  Stop by and look this over and please see Mr. N. Hostert if you have any further questions.   

Students:  If you are planning on riding the fan/spirit bus down to Lincoln next Tuesday, please know that you have to have your permission slip and your money into Mrs. Ludwig by Friday, November 18th at Noon.  If you have any questions please stop in.

This week is National Geographic Awareness Week.  In recognition of this we will be having two activities on Friday.  First, students and staff are encouraged to wear a t-shirt that reflects geography in some way.  On Friday please wear a shirt that has a place name or a geographic site.  Prizes will be given for:  most unique, farthest from O'Neill, closest to O'Neill, sports team, geographic site, and most colorful.  There will also be a food fair with foods from various cultures around the world.  You may sample this food on Friday during 7th period in the cafeteria area.  If you wish, please make a dime donation per sample.  Proceeds will go to the Wounded Warrior Project. 


FFA tee shirts are here. Please stop by Mrs. Ropp's room to pick up your shirt.  ALSO  National FFA Scholarships have opened up. Seniors, check your email for the link and see Mrs. Ropp if you have questions.  ALSO . FFA will begin a Winter Clothing Drive on Monday, November 28th. Bring grocery bags of gently used or new clothing!
