ANNOUNCEMENTS

Any 8th through 11th grade girl interested in girls golf - please come to Mr. Fernau's office during your 5th period lunch on FRIDAY.

High School Football players that are going out next year will check out pads down at the 38 building FRIDAY right after school starting with the Seniors first, then Juniors and so on.  ALSO a reminder that summer football camp deposits are due to Coach Eichelberger by Friday, May 16 for players who are attending the USD Team Camp.

The members of the NHS will be collecting spare change for the family who lost their home to fire earlier this week.  We will be coming around 1st period FRIDAY to collect any change you would like to donate.

There will be a high school volleyball meeting for all girls interested in playing volleyball in the Fall.  We will be discussing summer camps and weights.  We will be meeting Monday, May 19th right after school in the lecture room.

8th graders need to pay their class dues to Mrs. Mann or Ms. Myers before they can check out of school.  Dues are $5.

Avera Medical Group of O’Neill and Elkhorn Valley Medicine have made some changes relating to your 2014-15 school physicals.  Both clinics are no longer offering a “School Physical” night.  Both will offer a Well Child Check and a school physical option.  Either option will work for your school physical obligation.  You will need to schedule your own appointment and any physical given after May 1, 2014 will work for the 2014-15 school year.  O’Neill Public School physical forms will be provided to both clinics in O’Neill and are available upon request from the O’Neill Central Office.  If you have questions we encourage you to contact your medical provider or the Activities Director.    

All students in grades 7-10 will be testing MAPS on Tuesday, May 20th.  Come with your computers charged!  Bring reading materials for when you finish a test.

There will be a BOYS BASKETBALL meeting on Wednesday May 21st, right after school in the lecture hall for all students going to be 9-12th grade next year.  We will hand out practice jerseys, finalize our Summer Calendar, and talk about next year shortly.  Please see Coach Kallhoff if you can't attend so I can get you the information.

Monday, May 19th, there will be a softball meeting for all girls in grades 8-11 that are planning to play High School softball next fall.  The meeting will take place at 3:30pm or as soon as you can make it in modular 3, Coach G's classroom.

There is a cross country meeting on May 19th, right after school in room 214, Mr. Hilker's room.  Anyone interested in running cross country please come and listen.  If you can't attend please see me and I will get the information.  Coach Hilker

Student Laptop Checkin will be on Wednesday, May 21.  You will need to go through the clean-up and back-up process prior to school on Monday.  You may start working on this any time.  Cleaning supplies are located in the Library and in Mrs. Morrow’s room.  Bring your checkout sheet, any fines, and begin the check in process at the Librarynext Wednesday.
