ANNOUNCEMENTS

There will be a pep rally TODAY at 3:05 for State Cross Country. 

Juniors and Seniors:  The National Guard rep will be here TODAY at 11:00 a.m.  See Mr. Fernau for a pass.

The following junior high boys still need to turn in football equipment: Montana Boyle, Hunter Alder, Spencer Davis, Hunter Smith and Nate Welsh. Fines will be imposed if equipment is not turned in to Mr. Peterson by Monday.

We will be placing another order for state softball t-shirts.  Please see Kelley the main office if you want to see the design or place an order.  Deadline to order is 11:00 a.m. TODAY!!  Short sleeve t-shirt is $12; long-sleeve t-shirt is $14; performance short sleeve t-shirt is $14 and performance long-sleeve t-shirt is $16.    

A Dig Pink Event is scheduled at the Hartington CC VB Tri on Friday, Oct. 25.    The CCHS Student Council will be selling pieces of pink paper – one piece of pink paper for $1.00.  The purchaser will sign the piece of paper.  Then in between games at the triangular, the pink papers will be thrown onto the gym floor, aiming at the pizza boxes or buckets. The piece of paper closest to the box or bucket wins the prize.  We are encouraging all of the teams and fans to wear pink to the game to support Breast Cancer Awareness. Teams can wear hair ribbons, etc.

Battle Creek junior class will be sponsoring walking taco’s at Monday nights volleyball game.  Walking Taco, Desert & drink for $4.00, Walking taco only $2.00 

Juniors and Seniors:  A representative from Northeast Community College will be here on Tuesday, October 29^th at 8:30 a.m.  See Mr. Fernau or Mrs Braun for a pass.

Callam Sports has a state softball picture proof in the office.  If you wish to purchase a one please bring your $12 check, made out to OHS, and we will place one order.  Kelley will take your money and order.  This needs to be done by Nov. 6^th.  

Interested in doing international travel?  The 2015 European trip is in the works.  We will have an informational meeting on November 4th at 6 p.m. in the library.  If you are at all interested, come listen to the tour details, ask questions, and gather some information.  Talk to Mrs. Braun if you are unable to attend but would like information.
