ANNOUNCEMENTS

Congratulations to the FCCLA STAR competitors: District Champions and State Qualifiers:  Holly Hesse, Morgan Langan, Maranda Winter, Abby Krysl, Allison Becker, Allison Ludwig, Emily Morrow, and Haley Schmeichel. District Runners-Up were:  Amanda Brown and Blair Langan, Robyn Isom and Lauren Osborne, and Topanga Larson. Other gold medalist was Ariel Lichty.  Silver medalists included:  Marie Sitz, Kyle Coenen, and Emma Krysl. 

ATTENTION MUSICAL CAST -- There will be a quick (10-15 minute) orientation meeting after school TODAY at 3:30 in the music room.  You will receive your script and music during this meeting.  Formal rehearsals will begin next week.  All cast members must attend or make special arrangements with Mr. Jaques.  Attendance will be taken.

Remember:  The deadline for drivers ed registration is Tuesday, February 5^th!

There will be a POTATO BAR Tuesday, Feb 5th from 5:00 to 7:30pm in the multipurpose room during the Plainview girls and boys basketball games. Come join us for a locally grown baked potato with all of the toppings! This will be a free will donation, with proceeds to benefit the Elementary girls basketball program.  Please come and support your Junior Eagles!

Sophomores and Junors, the deadline to apply for the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards Camp is TODAY. Applications must be filled out online at www.greatplainsryla.org. This is a wonderful opportunity to expand your leadership skills, meet some great people from across the state and represent your school and community. Two scholarships will be awarded to O'Neill students by the O'Neill Rotary Club. 

NESA Testing Plan:  11^th grade students will be testing on TODAY during 2^nd and 3^rd periods and 5^th and 6^th periods.  Eleventh graders may be late for their fourth or seventh period classes depending on when they are testing.  Please be understanding of this for those students.
