ANNOUNCEMENTS

JH B Team girls basketball players - practice will end at 3:30 sharp TODAY at the 38 building.

Mr. Peterson will be placing a 2nd order of the O'Neill Athletics shirts.  Order forms are available in his room or online here:

All class meetings will be held in the lecture room (326) TODAY at the following times.  Each meeting will be at the beginning of the period and last 15 to 20 minutes.  Following each meeting, students will return to their normal schedule.
1st period: 9th grade
2nd period: 7th grade
3rd period: 8th grade
5th period: 12th grade (noon)
6th period: 10th grade
7th period: 11th grade

Dec. 1st through the 15th is the annual FOOD FIGHT between St. Mary's and O'Neill Schools.  To compete, please bring food items to your 4th period class.  The school with the most food collected per student, will win the coveted trophy.  In addition, the 4th period class with the most food donated, will win a pizza party! Go Eagles!

There will be a winter teen dance this Saturday, December 3rd from 9 p.m. to 12 a.m. at the O'Neill Community Center. This is for grades 9-12 and admission is 5 dollars or 2 New Winter Accessories. Items and funds raised from this casual wear dance will be donated to local elementary kids and families in need. Also, a reminder, no outside food or drinks will be allowed in the community center, once a person leaves, they will not be allowed back in, and breathalyzers will be used. Doors close to admittance at 10:30. This is being hosted by OHS Students for Respect and we hope to see you there!

Seniors planning on pursuing a college degree in a medical field should stop by Mr. Fernau's office to pick up a new scholarship offered through the West Holt Medical Services Foundation.  The Scholarship (Dolores Batenhorst Keading Scholarship) is due December 15th.

JH girls BB players.  Today's practices will be finished at 3:30 p.m.   Please make arrangements to have your rides get you at that time or before.  B Team girls if your rides are not waiting for you at that time you will be asked to walk to the high school to have your ride pick you up.

7 pm in the gym.  Bring a blanket, pillow, your choice of beverage in a bottle with a lid please and your family.  Hope to see you all there. 

If you were not able to come to the Greece, Italy, Spain 2013 meeting last night, please come see Mrs. Gotschall, Mrs. Kelly, or Mrs. Troester to get copies of the important enrollment information.  If you enroll in the next few weeks, you get $200 bucks off!  It's going to be an amazing experience!

Congratulations OHS Students you donated $361.62 to the March of Dimes.  Mrs. Barelmann's class wins the pizza party.  They will find out details in their first period class.  Thanks to all who donated.  The March of Dimes is a national organization which focuses on preventing birth defects and infant mortality.  It's latest priority is preventing premature births as 1 in 8 babies are born prematurely.
