ANNOUNCEMENTS

All winter cheerleaders: Please bring your uniforms to Mod 4 on Friday, March 18 during your lunch period. Lunch will be provided during both lunch periods.

Spring Activity Pictures are scheduled for Wednesday morning from approximately 8:00-11:00 AM. The general schedule is posted in the halls, but is subject to some modification as needed.  Please pay attention to the announcements to dismiss groups to their picture location, and please make sure you are dressed appropriately and have your order sheet and money when you get there if you are ordering.  Order forms are available in the office for any students who wish to pick them up.  

There will be a Chadron Scholastic Contest meeting in Mrs. Troester’s room 220 on Thursday from 11:50-12:05. You will get your permission slips, predestines, and test information. You will also sign up for rooms. Come see Mrs. Troester if you cannot attend. There will be a meeting Monday, March 21st after school for all girls 8th – 11th grade who are interested in being a cheerleader for next year.

The following students need to turn in basketball gear to Coach Hostert ASAP: Connor Peterson, Jordyn Johnson, Mark Vavra, Josh Womack, & Deinote Wilson.

Anyone in grades 9-11 who is interested in trying out for Fall Marching Band Color Guard there will be a meeting Wednesday, March 16th at 3:30 in Mod 4- See Mrs Brown for details.

Anybody 16 years old that is interested in summer employment at OPS needs to see Mr. Brown for an application.

The following students need to pick up and pay for your St. Patricks shirts: Jordan Mauch & Nikkita Everett. Please get them picked up ASAP. We also have one M – Long Sleeve tshirt for sale.

The Student Council, FCCLA and FFA are sponsoring a dress up contest for St. Patrick’s Day on Thursday, March 17th.  3 winners will receive gift certificates from local restaurants.  The school dress code must be followed….have fun and come in your Green/Irish finest!  Winners will be announced at the end of the day.

JH & HS Band members: The Deli International frozen food products will arrive this Friday, March 18th. You must pick up your orders afterschool in the OHS Multi-purpose room. Please deliver your items ASAP.

B-PG Meeting in Mrs. Troesters Room – Thursday, March 17 – 12:15 pm.

Senior girls:  PEO Chapter GT is sponsoring 4 - $250 scholarships to local Senior girls.  The deadline is April 1st. Application forms are available at the Guidance Office.
