ANNOUNCEMENTS
The library will be closed over the high school lunch TODAY.  If you need printing, pick it up before or after.

ALL MUSICAL CAST - There is an orientation meeting Friday night at 6:30 in the music room.  If you cannot attend, speak to Mr. Jaques as soon as possible.

MUSICAL CREW MEMBERS WANTED - Speak to Mr. Jaques or Mrs. Ludwig if you are interested in helping out with set construction, artwork, makeup, and/or stage crew.  A sign-up sheet is posted on the music room door.  Be part of the creative team!

Worldstrides group will be offering a Pork Patty Supper for the Twin River Game on Saturday. The meal will include sandwich, chips, dessert and drink. Good will offering.

There will be a Student Council meeting on Tuesday, February 1st at 7:30 a.m. in Mr. Brown’s room.  All members please plan to attend.

Congratulations to the FCCLA STAR participants!  District Champions and State Qualifiers include:  Heidi Hostert, Tasha Lechtenberg, Natalie Brodersen, and Ariel Lichty.  District Runners-up were Laura Lueninghoener, Jessica Marvin and Maranda Winter.  Other gold medalists were:  Holly Hesse, and Tyson Hostert.  Silver medals were awarded to: Grace Bunner, Sarah Devall, Allison Beckwith, Amanda Pischel, Emily Elsbury, Abby Krysl, Morgan Langan, Natasha Rowe, Marie Sitz, and Maranda Winter.  The senior high group also finished as chapter runners-up. 

Attention Seniors–Scholarship Opportunity: See Guidance for info if you are planning to major in one of the physical sciences.

Any FFA member, 8th grade through 11th grade, interested in attending National FFA Convention in October 2011 needs to see Ms. Knabe by Friday, January 28th. There is a limit to the first 6 males and 6 females.

“O” club members we are still in need of one group to deliver “Meals on Wheels” next week for Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.  If you can help please see Mr. Hostert.  Please turn in your predestines and remember to be back for class at the start of 5th period.

Senior Retreat:  All seniors will report to their first period class on February 4th.  They will be dismissed at 8:55 to report to Faith Community Church where their senior retreat will be held.  Attendance will be taken.  The retreat will end at 2:30.  Students will be dismissed from there.  Lunch will be provided.

Tell a board member “Thank you” for all they do this week! We are celebrating Nebraska School Board Recognition Week, and want to recognize Marge Ziska, Gene Chohon, Jim Gotschall, Amy Rowse, Ellen Boshart & Brad Ducker for the time and effort they put into making our school the best it can be.

Driver’s Ed classes will be held beginning February 23rd.  Registration Forms and additional information are available at the Guidance Office.
