ANNOUNCEMENTS:

CONGRATULATIONS to the OHS One-Act team on their Superior rating at the Central 8 Conference One-Act competition. Your performance was hysterical! Big congrats as well to Douglas Stahlecker who was named Best Supporting Actor for the competition. I also want to mention those recognized as Outstanding Performers at the Creighton One-Act Festival on Monday: Amanda Warriner, Douglas Stahlecker, Cody Lorenz, Laura Lueninghoener and TJ Hoke. You have made us proud!

Attention students in grades 7-12.  The booster club is inviting all athletes and students, along with your parents, to come and listen to former Husker Aaron Davis speak on Monday November 23 at 7:00 pm.  This will be held in conjunction with the annual Winter Sports Kickoff.  Please plan to attend as this will be an hour well spent.  Families of athletes are invited to sit in on practices around 5:15 p.m.  At 6:00 the Booster club will provide a potato soup and chili supper in the commons area.

Appointments are available to donate blood on Monday, November 23rd.  Please see Mrs. Hull to sign up for an appointment.  You must be at least 16 years old and weight 110 lbs to be eligible.  Students who are 16 must have a permission slip signed by their parents.  Pick up the form from Mrs. Hull.  Thanks!

Basketball t-shirt order forms are posted outside of Mr. Hostert’s office.  The first order will be placed on Tuesday Nov. 24.  Parents will be able to place orders on Monday night as well.  Cost for the t-shirts are $10 for short sleeve and $12 for long sleeve. 

If any FFA members are interested in applying for the Nebraska FFA  Choir, see Ms. Knabe by Friday, November 20th.

There will be a meeting for all NHS members on Tuesday, Nov. 24th.  We will eat at 7:30 with the meeting beginning at 7:40.  This is a very important organizational meeting, as we have much to do with Secret Santa sales coming up.  Please be prompt and come with ideas and willingness to help out.  Mrs. Crumly

Your yearbook head shots and baby ads for the yearbook at due in 3 weeks, make sure you get your photos and ad materials to Mrs. Gotschall ASAP!
