ANNOUNCEMENTS:

Spirit award winners for Thursday night’s volleyball game w/Broken Bow were Jordan Mauch & Allison Depko. Parent was Carol Hedlund.

Congratulations to the winners of Iron Man Volleyball:  1st – Seniors; 2nd – Freshmen; 3rd – Juniors.  Best Dressed – Seniors.

Congratulations to the winners of Powder Puff Football:  1st – Sophomores; 2nd – Freshmen; 3rd – Seniors.  Best Dressed – Juniors.

Spirit Contest Standings after Sunday – Seniors – 35; Sophomores – 20; Freshmen – 20; Juniors – 15; 7th & 8th are yet to score.

There were several articles of clothing and a pair of sunglasses left in the gym after Iron Man Volleyball on Sunday.  Claim at the office.

Winners for Clown Day are:  Tom Davidson, Doug Stahlecker, Miranda Winter & Alyssa Sobotka

A reminder to all students on the ineligible list for this grading period.  You must get a grade average and have all of your teachers sign the white academic progress forms.  Please show the forms to your coaches and then turn them into Mr. Hostert no later than 4 pm on Monday.  Forms can be picked up outside of Mr. Hostert’s office.  The next grading period is on October 30 and a new list will be printed at that time. 

Reminder, Juniors, you are working concessions at the Football game this week. Mrs. G will be posting you is signed up in Room 212.  Your dues must be paid by the end of the week or no dance!

Juniors, hall decorating will begin at 7PM this evening in Room 212.

Juniors/Seniors:  College Reps visiting OHS next week are:  Nebraska Wesleyan University @ 2:00 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 19;  South Dakota State University at Brookings, South Dakota @ 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 21.  See the guidance office for a pass.

Student Council members will again pick one staff member to receive a spirit award for Homecoming week.  The winner will receive a Dairy Queen gift certificate. 

Judging for costumes will be in the gym at 8:00 a.m. each day next week.
                                                                                 
FOUND:  A set of 3 keys of a silver key ring;  If these are yours please contact the office.  ALSO:  Lost a silver ring.  If found please bring to the office.

Paras: We will have a 7:30 am Para Meeting on Friday-October 23rd in Mod 3/Southside.  Paras that attended the Kearney Para Conference will be discussing their session notes.
