ANNOUNCEMENTS

FCCLA members due to the weather highway road ditch clean up is postponed.  We will have meetings at regular times.  Jr high at 5 and Sr. high at 7.  Those with conflicts for the senior high meeting may come to the junior high meeting.  Snack committee is Jr.  Faith, Sr.  Amanda B. Shelby T, and Paola Q.

The digital camo track t-shirts are in. Please pick up in Mr. Peterson’s room.

Juniors/Seniors:  College Reps coming to OHS this week are Hasting College at 9:00 am on Wednesday and the U.S. Army at 11:30 am on Wednesday.  See Mr. Fernau for a pass.

Students in grades 9-11 received a screencast from Mr. Fisher today communicating information about the Career Fair that is coming up on April 22nd.  Please take 3 minutes and watch this video as it contains information you need to know.  Also, 9-11 grade students will be receiving a survey sometime this week that you will need to complete for planning for the Career Fair.  Be looking for that coming in your school email.

If you would like to help at the O'Neill SH track meet on Thursday April 16 please see Mr. N. Hostert this week.  Meet starts at 10 am and we are in need of volunteers.  If you are in good academic standing (passing all your classes) you are eligible to help. Those students not helping or participating in the meet will be in study halls on April 16.

The O'Neill JH track meet is on Tuesday April 21 and will begin at noon.  We are looking for student volunteers for this meet as well.  We will have a regular school day on April 21 but if you would like to help please see Mr. N.Hostert.

Congratulations to the following students on being named to the NSAA academic all state team for the winter activity season.  Please plan to take a picture at 3:00 pm on Wednesday April 8 in the student lounge.  O'Neill Boys Basketball - Tyson Hostert & Jake Young;  Girls Basketball - Allison Becker & Natalie Brodersen:  Speech - Makenzie Petersen.

The "O" club will be traveling on April 11 to Lincoln for a 1 pm Nebraska Cornhuskers spring football game and then on to Omaha for a Lincoln Stars vs. Omaha Lancers hockey game at 7:05.  The bus will leave at 8 am and return home after the hockey game.  Those interested in attending should sign up and pay a $10 deposit to Mr. N. Hostert by noon Tuesday April 8.

CREW MEETING - All crew members must meet immediately after school TODAY in the music room.  We will be finalizing stage and lighting assignments and needs.  Anyone grades 9-12 may still join the musical crew and should attend the meeting as well.

The following musical cast members still need to pay and pick up their tshirts. Cost is $12.  Gabbie Scott, Coby Muilenberg, Sam Eichelberger & Cyrus Miller.
