ANNOUNCEMENTS

Prom goers:   *Today is the LAST day to order a t-Shirt for prom.  I sent out an email to juniors and seniors with a design update based on a bit of student feedback.  You need to have your order in by 4:00 today, as they have to be submitted to Special Ts.
* Also, if you are not attending the banquet, but are coming to the dance, you MUST sign up your date with Mrs. Gotschall by Thursday, April 23rd at 4PM.
* Last, prom picture order forms are now available from Mrs. Gotschall.  You may come pick one up 2nd, 4th, or 5th period or before or after school.  Details about how to schedule your appointment are on the envelopes.

There will be a volleyball meeting TONIGHT at 6:30 at the high school lecture hall. This is for all girls interested in volleyball for next year, which also includes next year's freshman! I would also like one parent present, so if you are not able to attend, make sure a parent can! We will be discussing camps for this summer including the camp I mentioned earlier for July 13th week. Please plan to attend as there is very important information on this camp that everyone needs to hear.

The Student Council Meeting that was scheduled for this Wednesday has been moved to next Wednesday, April 22nd at 11:30.

The O’Neill High School chapter of the National Honor Society is accepting applications for induction into the organization. To become a member of National Honor Society, four requirements must be attained: scholarship, leadership, character, and service.  In addition, a student must have attained a minimum GPA of 3.0 and have been enrolled in OPS system for at least 3 semesters.   Application forms may be picked up in the high school office or from Mrs. Brown or Mrs. Kelly beginning on Tuesday, April 7th and are due back to Mrs. Brown or Mrs. Kelly no later than 3:00 p.m., on Wednesday, April 15, 2014.  Students selected for the organization will be announced at the year-end Honor’s Convocation scheduled for Tuesday night, May 12.

Post Prom tickets will be on sale in the MP room on Tuesday April 14 and Friday April 17 from 11:30 to noon both days.  Please see Carrie Hahlbeck if you have questions.
