TONIGHT:  Football meeting right after school in the Lecture Hall (Bring a Pen).  Football Equipment check-in on Thursday @ 38 Building. Seniors and Juniors from 3:45-4:15...Sophomores and Freshman from 4:15-4:45.
Attention Speech Team:  If you are planning to do a public speaking event, informative or persuasive, please try to stop by and visit with Mrs. Crumly this week or early next week.  She has a box of possible topics that you might want to look for.  The first to come will have the greatest choice among these topics, or if you have an idea of your own, she will be on the lookout for sources for you.  Extempers, please plan to meet in the library next Wednesday, Nov. 7, for a brief meeting about setting up files.  
All HS volleyball players should sign up for a post season meeting by Coach Appleby's room.  Bring uniform and kneepads by Friday for check in.

Junior and Seniors:  A representative from the National Guard will be here on Friday, November 2 in the morning.  See Mr. Fernau for a pass if you are interested in the National Guard.

Students and adults interested in riding the spirit bus to the O’Neill vs. Grand Island CC football game tomorrow need to sign up with Mr. Hostert or Mrs. Ludwig by 9 am tomorrow (Thursday).  The cost for students has been reduced to a free trip so you only have to pay for your game ticket.  Bring $5 deposit to Mr. Hostert and you will receive this back when you get on the bus.  Adults will still be charged the $18 to ride the bus.  The first 50 to sign up and pay will reserve your spot.  Come cheer on the Eagles!

Congratulations to the O'Neill FFA Livestock Judging Teams, Junior and Senior division, for qualifying for state at District Livestock Judging yesterday. Thomas Schipporeit received Senior Division Reserve Champion and Nikki Gotschall received Jr. High Division Grand Champion. Good Luck at State!

ANNOUNCEMENTS

The Lions Mobile Screening Unit will be at the High School on Monday, October 22 and Wednesday, October 24.  Vision and hearing screenings will be done on all students.  We will start with 12th grade.  Teachers please release students for screenings when you are notified!

There will be a Freshmen meeting on Tuesday, October 23, in the lecture hall at 2:55 p.m.  Student will be dismissed by the intercom.

There is a post-season meeting at Dairy Queen right after school this Friday, the 19th for any girls who played softball or were a student manager this past season.

For any girls planning to play high school softball next fall,  Coach G. will have forms available this afternoon for the Husker 12/29 and 12/30 hitting and pitching camps.  If interested, get a form from Coach G. today as these camps fill-up quickly.

The game time for the JV football game at Wayne TONIGHT has been changed from 5 to 4:30.  This is due to Wayne High School not having lights on their football field.

Chef Keith will be serving Sweet and Sour Pork for lunch TODAY for $3.95, regular lunch will also be available. Students must have money in their account to purchase the Chef’sMeal.

FFA members that are attending Livestock Judging tomorrow: bus leaves at 6:30am, be here at least 10 minutes early. Also, do not forget money for lunch. You will need to bring about $10.
