ANNOUNCEMENTS

Juniors and Seniors:  A representative from Wayne State will be here TODAY at 1 PM.  See Mrs. Hull today for a pass if you would like to visit this rep.

The JH Football parents will be hosting a spaghetti supper TONIGHT at 5:00 pm in the High School Multi purpose room for the JH Football players.

Cheerleading tryouts for the upcoming basketball season will be held at the end of October. If you would like to tryout  please sign up ASAP. There will be sign up sheets on the bulletin board next to the main office and by Mrs. Hull’s office until TODAY.  If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Kelly.

O’Neill Jr/Sr High is interested in starting a new organization called “Circle of Friends”.  This will  help new students transition in a new school and/or help assist students struggling academically or socially.  Any 7^th through 12^th grade students interested in helping develop this organization please meet in the library TODAY at 3:30 pm.

Mock Trial:  Varsity will compete against West Boyd on October 27th @ 11:00 AM in the Holt County Court Room.  You will be the defense first round.  Be prepared.  JV has a bye the first week.  Both teams will be the prosecution November 3rd.  Lawyers: Make sure you send your cross examination questions to Mr. Gotschall.  Lawer/Witness partners set up 
an individual practice time with Mr. Gotschall this week.

All 7th and 8th graders interested in being part of the JH speech club, meeting on Thursday @ 7:40 AM in Mr. Mohr's room.

FFA Leadership Skills Events Contest sign-up is posted in the ag room.  You must be signed-up by Monday, Oct. 18th, scripts are due by Monday, Oct. 25th.  Due to the number of freshman that would like to compete in Creed Speaking, we will have try-outs after the meeting on Oct. 18th. See Ms. Knabe if you are interested or have any questions.
