TONIGHT from 6:30 to 7:30 pm - O’Neill Elementary annual Family Math Night sponsored by the Title I Advisory Board. All O’Neill elementary students are invited to attend and participate in a variety of age appropriate math activities. Students must be accompanied by an adult. Come and enjoy time as a family while engaging in math fun!
Mock Trial: Varsity will compete against West Boyd on October 27th @ 11:00 AM in the Holt County Court Room. You will be the defense first round. Be prepared. JV has a bye the first week. FFA Leadership Skills Events Contest sign-up is posted in the ag room. You must be signed-up by Monday, Oct. 18th, scripts are due by Monday, Oct. 25th. Due to the number of freshman that would like to compete in Creed Speaking, we will have try-outs after the meeting on Oct. 18th. See Ms. Knabe if you are interested or have any questions.
Cheerleading tryouts for the upcoming basketball season will be held at the end of October. If you would like to tryout please sign up ASAP. There will be sign up sheets on the bulletin board next to the main office and by Mrs. Hull’s office until Wednesday, October 13. If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Kelly.
O’Neill Jr/Sr High is interested in starting a new organization called “Circle of Friends”. This will help new students transition in a new school and/or help assist students struggling academically or socially. Any 7th through 12th grade students interested in helping develop this organization please meet in the library Wednesday, Oct 13 at 3:30 pm.
