ANNOUNCEMENTS
Students: Please remember to clean out your sports lockers as we will be hosting several activities this weekend at school.
There will be open gym basketball on Monday/Wednesday/Friday of next week. Monday at 5 pm at the elementary. The other times will be determined later.
The following cheerleaders will not be able to cheer at the upcoming volleyball game or during the winter season if they do not get their money turned into Mrs. Kelly ASAP! Revel Koehler, Natasha Rowe, Bobbie Walters, Kasey Hoffman, and Morgan Devall.
Attention National Honor Society Members: Seniors! – We need 2 volunteers to speak at the Veterans Day Program. See the sign-up sheet in Mrs. Pongratz room. We also need 5 or 6 Juniors/Seniors to hand out programs that morning.
Students planning on participating in a winter sport if you would like additional insurance coverage you may pick up forms from the office.
There will be a full “O” club meeting at 11:50 in the lecture hall on Tuesday Nov. 2. Anyone who has lettered in athletics or as a cheerleader are eligible to become a member of “O” club. You may sign up at the meeting or stop by Mr. Hostert’s office. We will be signing up for “Meals on Wheels” for the week of Nov. 8-12.
The Blood Drive Bus will be back at OHS on Friday, November 5th , 8:00 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. To be eligible to donate you must be at least 16, in good health, weigh at least 110 lbs. and have a photo ID. You will have a chance to sign up in your English class or see Emily Keyes or Mrs. Hull. Please consider giving this “Gift of Life”.
Attention Senior girls: Applications for the PEO STAR Scholarship are available at the Guidance Office. Successful candidates exhibit excellence in academics, leadership, extracurricular activities, community service and potential for success. GPA of 3.0 or higher is required, and the scholarship is valued at $2500.
