ANNOUNCEMENTS 

• The O Club will plan to travel to Kearney on Friday April 23 to attend a Tri City hockey game and a Sleuth Escape Room.  A $20 deposit is required.  This will be returned when we leave O'Neill.  Please sign up in Mr. N. Hostert's office by Monday April 19th at 3:00 pm.  The bus will leave around 1:45 pm on Friday for Kearney.  Please see Mr Hostert with questions/concerns and to sign up and pay your deposit.  All current O Club members are eligible to attend and up to 30 members may attend.

• The O’Neill High School chapter of the National Honor Society is accepting applications for induction into the organization. To become a member of National Honor Society, four requirements must be attained: scholarship, leadership, character, and service.  In addition, a student must have attained a minimum GPA of 3.0 and have been enrolled in OPS system for at least 3 semesters.

Application forms may be picked up from Mrs. Brown or Mrs. Kelly beginning on Monday, April 12th and are due back to Mrs. Brown or Mrs. Kelly no later than 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 21st, 2021.  If you have questions, please call the high school at 336-1544.

• The 2021 O'Neill High School Athletic Banquet will be held on Friday April 30 at 6 pm.  Uptown Cooking Creations will be catering the event.  Tickets are on sale in the High School office for $15.  Everyone needs a ticket to attend.  All OHS athletes are admitted free of charge if they sign up before April 20.  Please sign up outside Mr. N. Hostert's office.  Alex Watters will be the guest speaker.

• There will be a short meeting for any girls planning to go out for Girl’s Golf next fall in the old band room at 3:45 Wednesday, April 14th.  If you have any questions please contact Coach Belmer.

• Cheer Tryouts will be April 14th at 4:30 for anyone grades 8-11. There will be practice after school in the activities building Wednesday the 14th before tryouts. 

EVENT RESTRICTIONS

**Subject to change depending on Directed Health Measures**

FOR ALL SPRING ACTIVITIES:

• Spectators are required to wear face coverings for entrance to all activities. Face coverings may be removed if outside and 6 feet of physical distance can be maintained.

• Follow local/state DHM’s for spectator attendance.

• The host school may establish additional requirements in consultation with local health departments. Additional requirements implemented by the host school must be the same for all schools, officials, judges, and spectators. 

Spectators planning to travel to away events should plan to check the O’Neill High School announcements for game restrictions.  Announcements can be accessed on the O’Neill High School homepage at oneillhighschool.org or on the District website at

www.oneillpublicschools.org.
