EVENT RESTRICTIONS

**Subject to change depending on Directed Health Measures**

Effective February 12th, O’Neill Public Schools will observe the NSAA guidelines of 75% occupancy for indoor activities.  Once occupancy limits have been met, gym doors will be closed.  No fan list will be required.  Band and Student section seating are allowed.

Spectators planning to travel to away events should plan to check the O’Neill High School announcements for game restrictions.  Announcements can be accessed on the O’Neill High School homepage at oneillhighschool.org or on the District website at

www.oneillpublicschools.org.

Thursday, March 18 – Sandhills Division Meet @ Concordia

SPECTATORS:  There will be no spectators allowed at any time in the facility.

ENTRY LIMITS:  Each team will be limited to 18 total (Male & Female) competitors. For example, this could be 4 girls and 14 boys or 9 girls and 9 boys. The number can’t be more than 18 for each school. Each team will be allowed no more than 3 total coaches. These numbers will increase if any teams invited choose not to attend. We will not add teams for any reason that weren’t on the original invited list. This was the best option we felt allowed everyone still to attend, that has attended in the past and not have to choose who could or could not attend.

SCREENINGS:  Every team attending will be required to screen participants and coaches/staff planning to attend. Please reference the COVID-19 protocol document for specific information related to screenings required for attendance and competition.

MASKS / FACE COVERINGS: Teams (including staff/coaches) will be required to wear mask/face coverings at all times including warm ups and cool downs. Masks/face coverings may be removed while performing a competition level rep in warm ups and during competition, but must be put back on within a reasonable amount of time after that rep/effort has been completed.

TEAM CAMPS/SOCIAL DISTANCING: Team camps will be spread out throughout the indoor track on different bleacher sections. Teams are asked to make efforts to keep their participants in their team camp areas and away from other teams when at all possible. There will be no social distancing in relation to the events themselves (i.e. competitors in every other lane, etc.)
