ANNOUNCEMENTS  


HIGH SCHOOL BAND: Please sign up TODAY for Friday’s pep band performance at the Girls District Final basketball game.  If we do not have enough members going, we will have to cancel.

Track Athletes: Anyone who did NOT go out for a winter sport and plans on competing in track, there will be voluntary practices right after school in the old high school gym.  It will primarily be conditioning.

Boys Track Meeting:  Any 9th – 12th grade boy going out for track this season, there will be a meeting in the lecture hall on Tuesday, March 2nd at 3:30 pm.  If you cannot make it, please talk to Coach Cole Hilker to get the information.

Boys Golf Meeting:  There will be a short boy’s golf meeting on Tuesday, March 2nd in the old band room right after school, for boys in grades 9-12 that are interested in going out for golf.

Ticket Information for Girls Basketball C1-6 District Final

o Each Varsity OHS player will have 20 tickets, each reserve OHS player will have 10 tickets, each coach will have 10 tickets and each manager will have 2 tickets to start with. More may be available. At noon on Wednesday, February 24 we will check the number of tickets we have that are not spoken for and make every effort to make sure those who want to attend the game receive a ticket.

o ALL fans should call the High School office at 402-336-1544 to reserve your ticket. Tickets can be picked up at O'Neill High School and a list of names will be generated.

Track & Field Clothing Order - Yes, it is hard to believe track will be starting soon! We are starting to sell this year’s clothing items so you can have them by the time the first meets start. EVENT RESTRICTIONS

**Subject to change depending on Directed Health Measures**

Effective February 12th, O’Neill Public Schools will observe the NSAA guidelines of 75% occupancy for indoor activities.  Once occupancy limits have been met, gym doors will be closed.  No fan list will be required.  Band and Student section seating are allowed.


Spectators planning to travel to away events should plan to check the O’Neill High School announcements for game restrictions.  Announcements can be accessed on the O’Neill High School homepage at oneillhighschool.org or on the District website at www.oneillpublicschools.org.

- Hastings College will remain at 50% occupancy for the game.

- Face coverings are required for all fans.

- Gate opening will be at 6:00 pm.

- O'Neill fans will be seated on the east bleachers and the south end of the court.

- Family groups are asked to sit together with six feet spacing between other family groups.

- Band and student sections will be at the south end of the court.

- Game will be televised on Syracuse Strive TV.
