ANNOUNCEMENTS
There will be a full "O" Club meeting on Tuesday Sept 10 at 9:40 am in the Lecture Hall.  2019-20 officers will be nominated as we will need a Vice-President, Secretary, Student Council Rep, and class representatives.  All 9-12 grade students who have lettered as an athlete or manager are encouraged to attend the meeting. 

If you are interested in purchasing an OHS Letterman Jacket the order forms are available in the office.  Please turn your forms into the office along with payment by next Tuesday, Sept. 10th.

There will be a Mock Trial meeting in the Library this Thursday morning at 9:00 AM.  All students participating should plan to attend.  Please read the case before the meeting so you have an idea what it is about, and be thinking about being a witness or lawyer.  If you have any questions, notify Mrs. Appleby or Mrs. Corkle.

Students, yearbooks are still needing to be picked up!  If you ordered a yearbook last year, please come get it in room 305.  You can stop in 2nd period, 3rd period, 8th period, or before school or after school if Mrs. G is available to help you.

K-12 students and staff at West Holt, OHS, and O'Neill St Marys, along with members of these Holt County communities have been invited to participate in a #peacedaychallenge.  The challenge is the make 1000 origami Peace Cranes and send them to the Hiroshima Peace Memorial in honor of Sadako Sasaki, a 12 year old Japanese girl who survived the Hiroshima bombing, but later passed away from Leukemia.  While in the hospital being treated, she made hundreds of peace cranes, and a memorial was erected in her honor at Hiroshima.  Please check your email or the school FB page for the details of how to make your peace crane and what to do for the challenge!  There is s drop off located in the new main hallway on the West side of the school.  Please drop your cranes off there by September 20th!
