ANNOUNCEMENTS

FCCLA week is next week.  We would like to invite the student body and staff to join us in celebrating.  Activities for the week include:

Monday:  Pajama day (remember school dress code)

                            Doughnuts in lounge before school

Tuesday: Red and white day

                Carnations for sale in lounge before school $1 each

Wednesday: Tie Dye Day 

Thursday:  Around the world day-(wear a shirt from your favorite place).

The O'Neill boys basketball team will take on #1 ranked Columbus Scotus on Saturday February 11 at 12:30 pm in Grand Island at the Heartland Events Center.  Tickets can be purchased at the door and are good for the entire days games. There are eight games on the day pairing up mostly Nebraska teams from our four biggest classes.  Adult tickets are $16 and student tickets are $10.

Reminder: UNK Winter Track camp is Sunday, 2/12. Please let Coach Peterson know if you plan on attending so we can plan transportation. Registration forms are in his room.

Singing Valentines will be available to purchase from the senior high choir students, Miss Westerhaus, in the front office, or on the school website. If you would like the valentine delivered within either the elementary or high school, the cost is $2. If you would like it delivered somewhere within the city limits, the cost is $5. Please make sure to pay when you complete an order form and make a note that the money is to go to the O'Neill Choir Activity Fund. Forms and money are due to Miss Westerhaus by Friday, February 10th. The students will be delivering the Singing Valentines on Valentines Day. Second Request:  Mr. Horacek’s math classes need to return the calculators that were borrowed before Christmas break!
