ANNOUNCEMENTS
The VFW Ladies Auxiliary is sponsoring a voice of democracy contest for grades 9 – 12.  The theme is
"Does America Still Have Heroes?"  This should be a 3-5 minute essay on a standard cassette tape or CD theme.  Prizes and scholarships are awarded at local, district, state & national level with top scholarship of $30,000. "When is the right time to honor our military heroes?" This should be a 300-400 typewritten essay

FFA members attending the Livestock Judging in Valentine tomorrow need to be at the school by 6:30am. Bring $10 lunch and extra money if you would like to buy breakfast.

Missing:  Computer charger.  The number on the charger is 2107.  If found please return to Mr. Buller.  Please check your charger number to make you have the correct one. 

The Battle Creek FCCLA Chapter will be having a taco bar TONIGHT during the Volleyball games with O'Neill and Madison.  Serving will begin at 5:00 and cost is $3.00.  There will be walking tacos and bars.  All O'Neill fans are invited. 

Chef prepared meal at OHS lunch room - TODAY.  The meal will cost $3.95 this includes Thai Noodles with chicken, fruit and vegetable bar and milk choice.  You must have money in your lunch account in order to purchase this entrée.  ALSO please note that all of the other published menu choices will be available on that day at regular student lunch prices. 

Anyone who would like to help the O’Neill Rotary with Roadside Clean-up TODAY please plan to meet Mrs. Shane at the office at 3:30 that day.  This would be a great way to help your community and have fun at the same time. 

On October 14th, the 9th grade class will have ice cream and brownies at the end of their lunch time in the lunch room.  This is for showing the most improvement with the NeSA tests from last year.  Great Effort and Great Job Freshmen!

On October 12th at 7 pm at OHS, Bright Horizons will be hosting a play.  The play is called “In My Daughter’s Name” presented by The Angels Theatre Company.  Advanced tickets are $5 and $7 at the door.  If you would like more information please note the poster board outside of Mrs. Ludwig’s office.
