The American Legion will be selecting junior class representatives from our school for Boys and Girls State. This is a great opportunity for someone who would be committed to a week this summer for educational purposes relating to the duties, privileges, rights and responsibilities of American citizenship and government. It can be a fun and rewarding week. If you are in the junior class (boy or girl) and are interested, please see Mr. Brosz sometime within the next few weeks. He’ll have some information for you to look over that may be helpful. Also, students who participated last year (Heidi Hostert, Morgan Devall, Kevin Zakrzewski, and Nate Wabs) are sources of information. Also: Please see Mr. Brosz if any Junior Student is interested in the Junior Law Cadet Program. Another great program sponsored by the Legion.
OHS Students and Staff: Have you completed the survey for the future of 24/7 Learning yet? Be sure to click on the link in the announcements section on Angel and share your honest feedback by Friday. Also, if anyone is willing to give a short video testimonial on the topic, please stop by the Library where a Photo Booth recording station has been set up. Click record, share a reason or two why the laptops should be continued, and that's it! Your support is critical is the future planning of this initiative at OHS. Thank you.
