Food Fight!! November 15th-23rd are the dates for our annual Food Drive for the CNCS Food Pantry. This has become the largest donation that the Food Pantry receives all year! The in school winners will receive a free lunch and 2nd & 3rd places will also receive a food treat in class. IDEA: Why not give up soda/sports drinks (or the treat of your choice) for 1 week and use the $$$ saved to buy food items to donate? We are also having a friendly competition with St. Mary’s to see who donates the most items/member. Thanks for your support!
Students and Staff: This week is Geography Awareness Week. In recognition of this we are having several special activities throughout the week. On Wednesday please wear a shirt with the name of a place (e.g. town, city, county, state, region, country, lake, park, school, historic site, etc.) A “Place Chase” contest will be held on this day. Those participating need to collect different place names from shirts they see around school. The person wearing the shirt must then sign the participant’s form. The student collecting the most verified places/signatures will be the winner and will receive a prize. Other prizes will be given for the most states and most countries. Please see Mr. G Hostert for a form.
