Dress up winners for the Spirit Contest/Parents Occupation Day are: Girls – Heidi Hostert & Ladonna Lanz; Boys – Jacob Goldfuss & Ty Sawyer. Kelsey Ross, Brittney Davidson & Kelsey Appleby were a close second. GREAT JOB EVERYONE!!
Don’t forget to sign in your out of school dates for the homecoming dance by noon on Friday, dates must be 9th grade or older. Also please note that blue jeans are not acceptable. The cost is $5.00 per person - the breathalyzer will be used.
ONE-ACT AUDITIONS ARE MONDAY AND TUESDAY!!!!! We will be holding auditions for the very fun and exciting "Cap'n Hook" on Monday, Sept. 20 and Tuesday, Sept. 21. Auditions will be held in the band/choir room immediately after school on those days. If you absolutely cannot attend on either of those days, email Mrs. Langan at jlangan@esu8.org to set up an alternative audition time. Alternative auditions must take place BEFORE open auditions, so be sure to email early!!!
Sophomores- Remember to pay class dues of $ 10 to Holly Hesse, Mr. Spangler, or Mr. Mohr before the dance on Friday! If you work a solid hour for dance decoration, you'll get into the Homecoming dance free. Come to Mr. Spangler's room after school to help decorate.
Anyone interested in being a Rotary Exchange Student should contact Mrs. Shane as soon as possible. This is a great way to experience another culture and expand your horizons!
Attention Students: If you have any song requests for the Homecoming dance on Friday night, please note them on the sign-up sheet outside Mrs. Hull’s office.

Juniors, remember you have concessions this Friday for Homecoming. 1st Quarter workers need to be there at 6PM SHARP! You will be getting a reminder slip delivered to you today!
OHS Rally Towels are available for $1 get yours from Mrs. Hull.
7th Grade Students: You will take the MAPS Science Assessment on Friday (Sept. 17th) during 1st period. Please report to the Activities Building 1st period. Mrs. Hagen
There will be a Dtl meeting Tuesday Sept.21 after school in room 242 Mr. Spangler's room. This meeting is for anyone in 7th-12th grades interested in teens for a Tobacco free Nebraska!

The shredder truck will be at all 3 sites on October 11. Please have everything to be shredded to the High School or Elementary office by Friday, October 8.
