ANNOUNCEMENTS:

January is National Thank-You month.  Take some time today to thank those you appreciate:  Special thanks today to:  The Para-Educators who lend extra support to the teachers and students.

Congratulations to the STAR participants:  Gold medalists, District Champions, and State Qualifiers were: Heidi Hostert, Holly Hesse, Miranda Hoefer and Morgan Langan.  Gold Medalists and District Runners-up included:  Laura Lueninghoener, Maranda Winter, Natalie Brodersen and Ariel Lichty.  Additional gold medal winners were: Tasha Lechtenberg and Abby Krysl.  Silver Medalists were:  Jessica Marvin and Stephanie Nemec, Sasha Linton-Hendrick and Kasey Hoffman, Tim Lechtenberg  and Collin Nemec.

FCCLA members who signed up for the FCCLA week committee we’ll meet over lunch TODAY.

Any 11th grade students  interested in Boys State or Girls State, please stop by the office and visit with Mr. Brosz.  This week would be  best.  This is a great opportunity for students to learn and meet some of the best students in the state within an environment to understand citizenship and government.  Erin Gotachall and Dalton Dick were representatives from OPS last year and would offer information to any student who expresses interest.  This can be a great experience.  Thanks!

Freshmen, we have concession Sat. for the basketball marathon.  The workers schedule is posted in the hallway and on Mrs. Fernau's door.   Let Mrs. Fernau or Mrs. Hostert know if you won't be able to make it!

OPS will offer Driver’s Ed classes starting on February 24th.  See Guidance for a registration form and more information.

The following still need to pay for and pick up your basketball t-shirts in Mr. Hostert’s office: Nate Gotschall, Bergan Hesse, Toni Hamik, Shaley Kohl, Katie Stepp, Kodie Nicolaus, Dylan Aufenkamp, Kasey Nicolaus, Ashlea Reynoldson, and Derrick Hostert.

Attention Seniors:  Please get your pictures (1baby, 1 senior, 2-3 other) into Molly W. or Lorissa J. by February 9th for the senior video.
