ANNOUNCEMENTS

MUSICAL AUDITIONERS:  Auditions will take place on December 17th.  Sign-up sheets are at the choir room door as well as character descriptions and audition forms.  This is an upbeat, fun holiday musical that everyone is going to love!  Be a part of STRIKING 12 in the cast or crew!  JOIN the MUSICAL Blackboard Community for updated information, character info, synopsis, announcements and calendar info.  Feel free to talk to Mr. Jaques if you have any questions.

A representative from the University of South Dakota at Vermillion will be here on TODAY at 10:30 a.m.  See Mr. Fernau for a pass to visit this rep.

Juniors and Seniors taking Intro to Psychology or Advanced Composition for Dual Credit next semester will need to get their registration materials for NECC into Mr. Fernau by Thursday, December 12th.

There will be a panel discussion for juniors and seniors on December 20th from  11:30 - 12:30.  This is an opportunity for our junior and senior students to talk to some recent graduates who are in college about the things they can be doing now to prepare for college, the things that they need to be ready for and expect when they get to college.  Students planning to attend must get a predestined from Mrs. Braun by the end of the school day on December 18th.  We will be providing lunch for students attending.

Attention Junior High Students.  On December 10 at 7:30 there will be a movie in the multipupose room for you to enjoy.  "The Grinch" with Jim Carrey will be shown.  Admission will be $3.00 which will include popcorn and a pop.  There will be an ugly sweater contest for all who would like to participate.  Prizes will be given.  

The Scholastic Book Fair will be in the library from Monday, December 9th through December 15th.  We will be open each week day from 7:30 until 4:00 (or until people stop coming) and Sunday after the musical performance.  Stop in and do some Christmas shopping!

Food for Fines:  In order to support the Food Pantry food drive, the library is offering the option to pay fines with canned food now through December 13th.  One can =$ .01-$1.00;  2 cans = $1.01 $-2.00 (etc.).  If you have a fine, used canned goods to pay it off and support the local food pantry. 

I have 3 extra BB shirts for sale if anyone is interested.  I have a YL Long Sleeve – a S Short Sleeve Performance and a M Short Sleeve Performance. If you are interested see Mrs. Ludwig.

They have set a goal for 1800 items to top last year’s food drive record! Let’s see if we can set a new record for our school!
