ANNOUNCEMENTS

Students:  In an effort to stay “GREEN” the lunch room staff has a can for plastic bottles only.  This is clearly marked so please make every effort to throw only PLASTIC in that can.  Thank you.

There will be an “O” Club meeting on Thursday August 26^th at 11:15 in the Lecture Hall room.  We would like to invite all 10-12^th graders who have lettered in a sport as player, manager, or cheerleader.  Come see what the club is about on Thursday.  We will be nominating members to fill the following leader ship positions:  Vice-Pres (must be a Junior), Secretary, Student Council, and class reps for each class.  Please see Mr. Hostert if you have any questions. 

All boys basketball players who have completed 2010 shot charts should turn them in to coach Hostert.  Please make sure a parent has signed them and they need to be turned in by August 31. 

All girls basketball players need to hand in their summer shooting charts into coach Eichelberger by August 31.

SHOW CHOIR informational meeting:  WHO = grades 9-12 (you don't have to be in the chamber choir to join)  WHEN = September 1st @ 3:30 pm  WHERE = Lecture Hall   Come and find out everything you want to know about this year's show choir!  See you there!

There will be a meeting on Tuesday, August 24 at 7:25 a.m. for anyone interested in working with Eagles on Air this year in Mr. Peterson's room.

*-Whats new at OHS?-*
Above is the new ticket booth located at the entrance of our football field! On the right of the new building they take your money and on the left you can buy hamburgers and hot dogs!! This building was generously donated by the O'Neill High School Booster Club.

The girls and boys bathrooms were transformed! Now, the new improved girls bathroom is located near the 200 hallway and the boys is located near the 100 hallway. Be sure to go into the right one! :) Note; the doors open outward!

The student body voted for what design they liked the best and this is the outcome! The gym is looking mighty spiffy with the new floor and coat of paint! Be sure to check it out as the volleyball team breaks in the floor on September 2nd!

Interested in hosting a foreign exchange student?
Gustav is 17 years old, he is from a small town in Sweden, favorite subjects are math, biology and science, interests include music, sports, biking, soccer and playing badminton. Gustav needs to live in a pet free home. He says he "tries to see most things from the positive side."
