ANNOUNCEMENTS

Attention students and staff:  Next week is National Money Smart Week.  In recognition of this the FCCLA chapter and Ariel Lichty of the FCCLA State Financial Fitness Team will be conducting the annual penny wars during first period classes next week.  The class with the most points at the end of the week will win their choice of a pizza or ice cream sundae party.  See posters around school for rules.  Also Ariel will be asking trivia questions over the intercom, be the first to tell your first period teacher the answer and win a prize on the spot.
Attention all students:  After much debate, we are going to try and allow Youtube to be unblocked during school hours for a trial run.  The success of this depends on you.  Just because you CAN get to YouTube during school, doesn’t always mean you SHOULD.  Like everything else on your computer, you should use it for educational purposes only during school.  In exchange for this new freedom, perhaps many of you could attempt to “step up” your computer use a little, as well. Use those free moments you have for extra studying, project completion, or make-up work, and save the games, shopping, socializing, and random browsing for when all your grades are exemplary.  Together we all can continue to build a system we are proud of.  Thank you for your cooperation, Mrs. Morrow.

O’Neill High School will host the NVC volleyball tourney TONIGHT and a C2 sub district tourney on Monday.  All locker rooms will be used TONIGHT and Monday so OHS students should have your stuff out by 4:00 pm and not plan to use them on either date.

Football end of the season Team meal will be next Friday, November 8th at the Blarney Stone from 6:00-8:00 pm.  Coach E

Eagle Eye Broadcasting is selling the "O'Neill Athletics" clothing again. You can pick up an order form outside Mr. Peterson's room (121) or get a form online at the High School website.  First order will be placed on November 8th.
